Vibration damper having an adjustable damping force
A vibration damper with an adjustable damping force may comprise an inner cylinder having at least one working chamber, an outer cylinder that surrounds the inner cylinder, and at least one damping valve element that in terms of flow is connected via a flow connection to the working chamber. An adapter sleeve may guide the flow connection, with the adapter sleeve being inserted in the inner cylinder on an internal circumference of the inner cylinder. The flow connection may be guided into the damping valve element by way of a flow opening that is configured in a wall of the inner cylinder.
DAMPER ASSEMBLY FOR TORQUE CONVERTERS
A damper for a torque converter is disclosed. The damper includes an outer spring and an inner spring coaxial with the outer spring; and a retaining plate to retain the outer spring and the inner spring. The retaining plate includes an upper spring guide, a lower spring guide, an outer spring support, and an inner spring support, wherein the upper spring guide extends substantially around an outer periphery of the retaining plate, the lower spring guide extends around an inner periphery of the retaining plate, the outer spring support directly contacts axial ends of the outer spring and the inner spring, and the inner spring support directly contacts the axial ends of the outer spring and the inner spring.
Shock absorber
A shock absorber includes a bearing unit having a bearing and a bearing holding member, and a seal unit having a seal member and a seal holding member. The seal holding member includes a seal accommodating portion being configured to accommodate the seal member, and an insertion hole through which a piston rod is inserted. The seal member is pressed against an outer circumferential surface of the piston rod and the seal accommodating portion by working-fluid pressure in the extension-side chamber. And the bearing is provided such that a first end surface of the bearing facing the seal member matches an aperture plane of a through hole of the bearing holding member or such that the first end surface of the bearing projects out from the aperture plane of the through hole.
VIBRATION-PROOF HANGER
Proposed is a vibration-proof hanger. According to one embodiment, the vibration-proof hanger includes a fitting bracket having a fixed plate configured to allow a first surface to be integrally fixed to an artificial structure, wherein a hinge unit is provided on a second surface of the fixed plate, a tilting arm unit configured to allow one end to be rotatably fixed to the hinge unit to be tilted, and a vibration-proof unit configured to be coupled to the tilting arm unit to absorb vibration transferred to the tilting arm unit or rotate to prevent vibration of the tilting arm unit.
Hydraulic Rebound Stop Pressure Relief System
A damper comprises a pressure tube extending longitudinally between a first pressure tube end and a second pressure tube end, a piston arranged in sliding engagement inside the pressure tube, a piston rod coupled to the piston, a hydraulic rebound stop positioned in a first working chamber and including a sealing ring circumferentially extending around the piston rod and within the pressure tube. The sealing ring at least partially defining a high-pressure region within the pressure tube during a rebound stroke the damper further comprising a pressure relief valve in fluid communication with the high-pressure region. The pressure relief valve being operable to allow pressurized fluid from the high-pressure region to pass therethrough once a predefined pressure threshold has been reached.
SQUEEZE MODE GIANT ELECTRORHEOLOGICAL FLUID DAMPER
A squeeze mode giant electrorheological fluid damper is disclosed. The squeeze mode giant electrorheological fluid damper comprises a support, a container and a connecting structure, wherein the support comprises a bottom plate, guide shafts and a top plate, the guide shaft is vertically fixed on the bottom plate, and the top plate is slidably arranged on the guide shaft; the container comprises a container body and two spiral spring pieces coaxially arranged in the container body, the container body is fixed on the bottom plate, the bottoms of the two spiral spring pieces are fixed to the bottom of the container, the two spiral spring pieces are not in contact with each other and are spaced by 180°; the top of the connecting structure is fixedly connected with the top plate, and the bottom of the connecting structure is fixedly connected with the tops of the two spiral spring pieces.
MULTI-CHAMBER INTERNALLY DAMPED TUNED VIBRATION ABSORBER
A multi-chamber internally damped tuned vibration absorber includes a mass having internal chambers that house damping members for dissipating vibrational motion of the mass. Guide members pass through the internal chambers and guide movement of the mass. An attachment member attaches the guide members to a structure to attenuate vibrations of the structure.
Suspension damper with fluid contaminant protection
A suspension damper for washing machines includes a control rod that is configured to attach a fixed bracket of a washing machine cabinet and a first cap having an aperture through which the control rod slidingly extends. The first cap is configured to engage a concave portion of a bracket on a drum of the washing machine. A second cap is disposed on the control rod, and a spring is disposed between the first cap and the second cap. The first cap includes at least one water passageway for guiding water along an outer surface of the first cap.
