The invention relates to a stabilizer assembly of a two-track vehicle for stabilizing a rolling movement, the stabilizer assembly being operable on at least two different spring characteristics, comprising a first and a second stabilizer half, each coupled to a wheel of the vehicle, wherein the first and the second stabilizer halves are coupled such that they can rotate relative to each other about their longitudinal axis by means of a spring element, whereby the stabilizer is operable with a first spring characteristic, and wherein the first and the second stabilizer halves can be hydraulically coupled such that they can rotate relative to each other about their longitudinal axis by means of a hydraulic actuator, whereby the stabilizer is operable using at least one second spring characteristic. The actuator comprises at least two work chambers which are filled with a hydraulic medium and coupled to each other by a fluid-conducting connection, and the actuator comprises a transmission unit which is designed such that a rotational movement of the stabilizer halves can be converted into a translational movement of an intermediate element arranged between the two work chambers, and a volume flow of the hydraulic medium from the one work chamber into the other work chamber can thus be produced.
POWER STRUT WITH DIFFERENT ROTATIONAL FRICTION TORQUE
A power strut includes anisotropic damping device that provides different frictional torque on a rotatable member in response to rotation in opposite rotational directions. The anisotropic damping device includes a shell, the rotatable member, and a torsion spring. The shell includes a through hole, and the rotatable member extends through the through hole and is rotatably connected to the shell. The torsion spring is sleeved on the rotatable member and is in interference fit with the rotatable member, and the torsion spring is provided with a first leg fixedly connected to the shell. The rotatable member may include a shaft sleeve fixed to a rotating shaft, with the torsion spring in interference fit with the shaft sleeve.
Torque adjustment mechanism
A torque adjustment mechanism is provided for use with a torsion spring. The torsion spring is a coil spring having a plurality of helical coils that define a hollow core. A torque adjuster is positioned in the interior of the hollow core of the coil spring. The torque adjuster has a circular collar on one end and a securing flange on the other end. The circular collar is designed to fit into the hollow core of the coil spring. A clamp is positioned over the exterior of the coil spring in alignment with the circular collar. The clamp secures the coil spring to circular. The position of the collar in the spring defines the number of the coils that are active and establishes the level torque provided by the torsion spring.
ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED ELLIPTICAL BIFURCATING TORSION SPRING
A 3D printed additively manufactured (AM) elliptical bifurcating torsion flexure assembly system includes a base section; elliptical bifurcating torsion springs, each including a bifurcated legs section supported by the base; a bifurcated elliptical torsion spring section contiguous with the bifurcated legs section; and a single upper section contiguous with the elliptical torsion spring section. The single upper section includes a connection component, and the device material includes Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) heat-treated Ti6Al4V. The elliptical bifurcating torsion flexure assembly is printed as one part by a 3D additive manufacturing process, and the bifurcation maintains consistent balance while being torqued. The stiffness-spring rate of the device is at least partly controlled by varying cross-sectional shape and diameters by the 3D additive manufacturing printing.
ARRANGEMENT FOR TRANSFERRING TORSION TORQUE, PARTICULARLY IN THE FORM OF A TORSION SPRING OR DRIVE SHAFT MADE OF COMPOSITE FIBER MATERIALS IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE A HIGH SPECIFIC MATERIAL USAGE
The invention relates to a torsion carrier, particularly a torsion spring, helical spring, drive shaft or balance shaft, which enables significant material and installation space savings compared to the prior art. The torsion carrier consists of a plurality of, but at least two supporting layers lying radially one above the other, each of which consists of at least one spiral coil (1, 3), but preferably of a plurality of spiral coils made of predominantly unidirectional composite fiber material, wherein at least two of the supporting layers have a counterrotating spiral coil orientation relative to one other. An elastic intermediate spacer layer (2) is arranged between adjacent spiral coil layers, by means of which a decoupling of the spiral coil expansions of adjacent spiral coil layers is achieved. This achieves particularly favorable, predominantly single-axis states of stress which allow for a high level of material utilization.
POLYGON PRISM TORSION BAR
A torsion bar is provided that is easy, quick, and cost effective to manufacture. The torsion bar may extend along an axis and have a first end and a second end that is spaced from the first end. The torsion bar may have an active section positioned between the first and second ends. The active section may also have a length defined along the axis. A cross-section transverse to the axis may define a contour of the torsion bar where the contour may be uniform along the length of the active section. The contour may define at least one of a polygon and a polygon-like shape.
Torsion-loaded rod-shaped component with different fibre reinforcements for tensile and compressive loading
A torsion spring may be configured as a torsion bar or a helical spring made of a spring wire made of fiber-composite material. The torsion spring may have a plurality of layers of fiber reinforcement that have been saturated with a matrix material, wherein the layers may have fibers that are tension-loaded and fibers that are compression-loaded. The at least one compression-loaded group may have a lower group stiffness than the tension-loaded group with the highest group stiffness. Methods for designing or making torsion springs made of fiber-composite material are also disclosed.
Belt pulley decoupler
A belt pulley decoupler (1) for the transfer of torque between the belt of a belt drive and a shaft (2) in drive connection therewith, includes: a hub (5) to be fastened to the shaft, a belt pulley (3) rotatably mounted on the hub, and two helical torsion springs (18, 19) which transfer the torque between the belt pulley and the hub and are connected in parallel.
Component including an optimized multilayer torsion spring
A component is described, in particular an inertial sensor for detecting acceleration forces, including a substrate, a mass structure, and a spring unit, the mass structure being pivotable along an axis in relation to the substrate with the aid of the spring unit, the spring unit including a first spring web and a second spring web, which are spaced apart from one another along a z direction. Furthermore, a method for manufacturing a spring unit is described.
Elevatable supporting device
An elevatable supporting device for bearing a display is provided. The elevatable supporting device comprises an upright, an energy storage element, and a bearing module. The upright includes a first sliding structure and a second sliding structure which is non-parallel to the first sliding structure. The energy storage element abuts against the first sliding structure and the second sliding structure and includes a first arm providing a first resistance and a second arm providing a second resistance. A first included angle is defined between the first arm and the second arm. When the energy storage element moves from the highest position to the lowest position, the first included angle decreases so that one of the first resistance and the second resistance may increase in order to maintain a total effective resistance along the first axis. Accordingly, the display may be able to stop at any position between the highest position and the lowest position.
