Gas-charging and flanging machine
A gas-charging and flanging machine (10) includes a sealed chamber (13a). The gas-charging and flanging machine is used for carrying out, inside the sealed chamber, charging of a gas into a workpiece (20) and flanging of the workpiece (20) by spinning and pressing. The gas-charging and flanging machine charges a gas into a workpiece and flanges the workpiece on the same machine such that production efficiency can be improved.
GAS-CHARGING AND FLANGING MACHINE

The gas-charging and flanging machine is used for carrying out, inside the sealed chamber, charging of a gas into a workpiece (20) and flanging of the workpiece (20) by spinning and pressing. The gas-charging and flanging machine charges a gas into a workpiece and flanges the workpiece on the same machine such that production efficiency can be improved.
Shock strut with integral shrink piston actuator
A shock strut may comprise a strut cylinder, a strut piston operatively coupled to the strut cylinder, a shrink piston disposed at least partially within the strut cylinder, and a shrink chamber at least partially defined by the shrink piston. The shrink piston may comprise a shrink piston head, a sleeve extending from the shrink piston head, and a mechanical stop. A hydraulic fluid may be moved into the shrink chamber to compress the shrink piston and the strut piston into the strut cylinder to reduce an overall length of the shock strut.

Overtravel pressure relief for a gas spring
A gas spring with a casing with an axially extending side wall, an open end and a closed end wall spaced from the open end and a pressure chamber provided in part by the walls to receive a gas therein under pressure and a piston rod slidably received in a housing received in the casing and movable between extended and retracted positions. A pressure relief collar slidably carried around the piston rod and normally projecting axially outwardly of the casing can be displaced axially inwardly during an overtravel condition of the piston rod to displace a portion of a piston rod seal to open an overpressure relief path to allow pressurized gas in the pressure chamber to escape to the outside of the gas spring.
Front fork
A front fork includes a fork main body, a damper cartridge, and a closing member. The damper cartridge includes a cylinder, a piston mounted on a piston rod, and a rod guide which guides the piston rod and to which a fluid filling port that allows the outside of the cylinder to communicate with the fluid chamber is provided. The closing member is provided on the rod guide and closes the fluid filling port.
Overtravel relief assembly for a gas spring
A gas spring for forming equipment may have a casing with an axially extending side wall, an open end, and a closed end wall with the walls defining in part a pressure chamber to receive a gas under pressure, a bearing assembly received in the casing, a piston rod slidably received in the bearing assembly for reciprocation between extended and retracted positions, a piston retainer received in the casing and separate from and normally carried by the piston rod, a deforming member in the casing adjacent its closed end wall, and configured to plastically deform the retainer when the piston rod is forced into the pressure chamber into an overtravel retracted position beyond its designed intended maximum retracted position and after such overtravel the piston rod returns to at least its extended position and the deformed retainer engages the bearing assembly and is fractured and separated from the piston rod. The gas spring may have a piston rod seal and a passage in the piston rod communicating with the pressure chamber and opening onto the piston rod at a location that do both axially inboard of engagement of the seal with the piston rod when it is in its normal extended position and generally axially outboard of and bypassing or disrupting the seal after overtravel of the piston rod and the retainer has separated from it and it has moved to a further extended position relative to its designed intended normal maximum extended position to thereby provide a path for compressed gas in the pressure chamber to pass through the passage to the exterior of the open end of the casing.
