20230228316 · 2023-07-20 ·

Steel wire rope adjuster terminal consisting of a piece of equipment designed to be assembled on a steel wire rope in order to form one of the two fastening ends thereof by means of a system for adjusting the length of the steel wire rope and then locking it, which is based on a fixed component comprising an internal box in which a cam can rotate until it forms a channel by means of respective grooves wherein the steel wire rope can slide if it is not bearing a load, and in which the cam is activated and trapped against the fixed component when the wire rope is bearing a load, so that the system does not damage the wire rope in any way and it can be unlocked in a completely reversible way.

Cable securing device

A cable securing device facilitates secure connection to a cabling end, and employs a retaining cap, a barrel and a cable receiving component. The cable receiving component can include a spacer gland, a fastening ring and a retaining jaw, or a subset thereof, and the elements of the cable receiving component may either be joined together as individual elements or provided as an integrated cartridge.

SELF-LOCKING CABLE SECURING DEVICE, ASSEMBLY AND METHOD

A self-locking securing device facilitates secure connection to cable or elongated object ends, and employs a retaining jaw, a barrel, a spacer and a sleeve. In various embodiments, the retaining jaw and spacer are formed as part or all of a replaceable cartridge and can include a fastening ring therebetween.

A rope fastening arrangement of a hoisting device, which comprises a rope drum, a fastening device having a chamber which defines the vertical boundary dimensions, the horizontal boundary dimensions, and depth direction boundary dimensions of the fastening device, a hoisting rope and a hoisting member which by means of the hoisting rope ascends and descends supported by the fastening device and rope drum. Said rope fastening arrangement further comprises that the hoisting rope (4) is locked to the fastening device by wedging, whereby the fastening device guides the first end of the hoisting rope away so that the first end of the hoisting rope does not extend outside the vertical boundary dimensions of the chamber.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR HOLDING AND RELEASING A CABLE IN A PIPE SPLITTER

A cable retention and release mechanism includes a cable gripping device including a cable passage. A cable extends through the cable passage. A cable gripping device collar is movably coupled around the cable gripping device. An outer cable gripping device surface is seated against a cable gripping device receiving inner surface preventing movement of the cable gripping device relative to the cable gripping device collar. The cable gripping device receiving inner surface clamps the cable gripping device on the cable and prevents sliding movement of the cable. A jack is movably coupled with the cable gripping device collar. In a first engaged position the jack is engaged against the cable gripping device proximal end. In a second engaged position the jack unseats the outer cable gripping device surface from the cable gripping device receiving inner surface and releases the clamping of the cable.

Barrier cable coupler

A strain relief assembly includes a top plate and a bottom plate. The top plate defines a plurality of top ports configured to receive a plurality of cables at a first point. The bottom plate defines a plurality of bottom ports configured to receive the plurality of cables at a second point. The strain relief assembly is movable between an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the plurality of top ports and the plurality of bottom ports collectively define a first passage area. In the closed position, the plurality of top ports and the plurality of bottom ports collectively define a second passage area smaller than the first passage area.

Wedge clamp and steel wire

Provided is a wedge clamp for anchoring an end of a steel wire for further enhancement in workability upon use. A wedge clamp 1 for retaining a steel wire includes a first member 12 having a wedge shape and a second member 11 slidably fitting the first member 12 to restrain a steel wire by a pressure that generates based on the wedge shape of the first member 12, the wedge clamp 1 including an engaging portion (protrusion 124 and anchoring portion 113) enabling slidable fit between the first member 12 and the second member 11 while engaging the first member 12 and the second member 11.

Connection device which is displaceable and removable along a rope

The connection device (1) comprises a coupling connector (5) in the form of an open ring (5a) with a closure finger (5b), which is rendered permanently integral, by means of an articulated connection or by means of a rigid connection, with a connection apparatus (4) which can ensure the selective connection to a rope (3). The manipulation of the connection device is thus facilitated, and the risks of incorrect relative positioning of the coupling connector (5) and the connection apparatus (4) are avoided.
