STEEL CABLE ADJUSTMENT TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR USING SAME
Steel wire rope adjuster terminal consisting of a piece of equipment designed to be assembled on a steel wire rope in order to form one of the two fastening ends thereof by means of a system for adjusting the length of the steel wire rope and then locking it, which is based on a fixed component comprising an internal box in which a cam can rotate until it forms a channel by means of respective grooves wherein the steel wire rope can slide if it is not bearing a load, and in which the cam is activated and trapped against the fixed component when the wire rope is bearing a load, so that the system does not damage the wire rope in any way and it can be unlocked in a completely reversible way.
FLEXIBLE WIRE HOLDER
A flexible wire holder for use with a fish tape includes a lead end for attachment to the fish tape. The lead end includes an oblong loop. The flexible wire holder includes a trail end with a fastener that is engageable with an adjacent wire holder and a separate or integral wire sheath.
Wire terminator device
A wire terminator device for fences and barriers which has two bodies. The first body houses a wire retaining mechanism and the second body stems from the first body and includes an engagement element where the wire is retained in the usage position. The engagement element forming the second body is defined by a through passage in the direction of passage of the wire and a single inlet groove that is oblique with respect to the direction of passage of the wire. The single inlet groove is arranged in the same plane of the direction of passage of the wire in the usage position.
IMPROVEMENTS RELATING TO BARRIER STANDS
An improved barrier stand (3) for a corded exhibition barrier (1) is disclosed. The barrier stand (3) comprises a socket (7), and a post (5). The post (5) is adapted to be mounted on abase (4) so as to stand in a vertical position. The post defines an open top, and the socket (7) is retained by the open top of the post (5). The socket (7) defines a channel leading between an exterior of the barrier stand (3) and a hollow interior of the post (5). The socket (7) further defines gripping structures for gripping a cord (2) extending along the channel. A first set of the gripping structures are shaped and arranged to permit insertion of the cord (2) along the channel towards the interior of the post (5), but resist retraction of the cord (2) away from the interior of the post (5).
BRAKE PLATE FOR A ROPE GRAB FOR ROPE CLIMBING, ROPE GRAB FOR ROPE CLIMBING, AND METHOD FOR RETROFITTING A ROPE GRAB
The invention relates to a brake plate for a rope grab for rope climbing, comprising: a first section for supporting a rope on the brake plate, said first section being a first arc of a first circle with a first radius, and a second section for supporting the rope on the brake plate, said second section being arranged adjacently to the first section, wherein the brake plate is characterized in that the second section is a second arc of a second circle with a second radius, and the second radius is larger than the first radius. The invention additionally relates to a rope grab for rope climbing, comprising the brake plate, and to a method for retrofitting a rope grab with the brake plate.
Bungee bead apparatus
A bungee bead apparatus includes a bead and elastic cord with first and second ends fixedly secured in proximity to, or in contact with, each other at one end of the bead to form a loop. A circumferential recess formed between first and second sides of the bead extends from the bead's first end to its second end, having a cross-sectional height and width to receive the loop of the elastic cord therethrough. The orifice extends at an acute angle, positioned midway between the bead's first and second sides, and begins at the bead's first end in proximity to the first side, and transects the circumferential recess at its second end. The circumferential recess is annular with a depth of about one-half the diameter of the cylindrical elastic cord to receive only a portion therein. The recess and orifice permit two (or more) such apparatus to be linked together.

Rope holder
A device for holding onto a rope to form a loop that can be tighten about two objects. The device including a base portion having at least one hole for securing one end of the rope. A clamping portion slidably engages a plurality of posts enabling the clamping portion to slide between a clamp position and release position for securing a portion of the rope therebetween. A clamp/release mechanism provides a means to clamp and release the clamping portion onto from the posts. The clamp/release mechanism includes a plurality of levers to selectively engage a respective post to clamp the clamping portion onto the posts when in a clamp position and disengage the at least one post to release the clamping portion from the posts when in a release position.
String stopper
A string stopper includes a fixing hole formed at an end, and a guide hole formed at one side of the fixing hole. A string is inserted into the fixing hole so that a fixed end of the string is fixed to the fixing hole, and a free end of the string is inserted into an entrance of the guide hole and is drawn out of an exit of the guide hole. The guide hole has a first narrow groove and a second narrow groove which are respectively formed at the inside of the entrance and at the outside of the exit of the guide hole.
Positioning apparatus mounted with vibration isolators and robot
A positioning apparatus mounted with at least one linear axis or axis of rotation and a robot on a base and mounted with vibration isolators and the robot includes vibration isolators that are capable of seating and suspending the base and a controller that controls suspension and seating of the vibration isolators in accordance with an operating condition of the robot.
