An electric drive axle of a vehicle includes an electric motor having an output shaft. An idler assembly is drivingly coupled to the electric motor and a differential. The idler assembly includes a first gear-clutch assembly to facilitate a first gear ratio and a second gear-clutch assembly to facilitate a second gear ratio.

MULTI-SPEED ELECTRIC DRIVE AXLE USING MULTI-LAYSHAFT TRANSMISSION

An electric drive axle with an electric motor having a motor shaft that is rotatable about an axis, a differential, and a transmission. The transmission transmits rotary power between the motor shaft and the differential. The multi-speed reduction has an input shaft and at least three on-axis gears. The input shaft is rotatably coupled to the motor shaft. Each of the at least three on-axis gears is co-axial with the input shaft and is rotatable relative to the input shaft in at least one of a first speed ratio and a second speed ratio. The input shaft is axially movable along the axis between a first position, in which a first one of the at least three on-axis gears is rotationally coupled to the input shaft, and a second position in which a second one of the at least three on-axis gears is rotationally coupled to the input shaft.

A transmission system configured to transfer power from a power source to a load is provided. The transmission system includes an input section coupled to the power source and a range section coupled to the load. The input section includes a plurality of input clutches configured to selectively transition between engaged and disengaged states to provide one or more input speeds. The range section includes a plurality of range clutches configured to be selectively transition between engaged and disengaged states to provide one or more speed ranges. When the range section is commanded to sequentially shift between two of the one or more speed ranges, the range section is configured to maintain at least two of the plurality of range clutches in the engaged state and transition a maximum of one of the plurality of range clutches from the disengaged state to the engaged state.

TRANSMISSION ARRANGEMENT, OVERALL TRANSMISSION AND MOBILE AGRICULTURAL MACHINE

A transmission assembly including a torque input shaft and a torque output shaft and input idler gears, input fixed gears and shift elements, each of which is associated with an input idler gear, are arranged on the torque input shaft, and output idler gears, output fixed gears and shift elements, each of which are associated with an output idler gear, are arranged on the torque output shaft, with the result that a plurality of different torque transmission paths from the torque input shaft to the torque output shaft may be implemented. The transmission arrangement has an additional torque transmission path that may be implemented. The additional torque transmission path runs from the torque input shaft through a double gear to the torque output shaft. The transmission assembly can be included in a corresponding overall transmission which can be installed in an agricultural machine.

TRANSMISSION FOR A VEHICLE AND DRIVELINE COMPRISING THE TRANSMISSION

The invention relates to a transmission for a vehicle, in particular for a teleboom handler or for a backhoe loader, the transmission comprising: an input shaft; a first clutching assembly drivingly engaged with the input shaft; a second clutching assembly drivingly engaged with the first clutching assembly; a third clutching assembly drivingly engaged with the second clutching assembly; and an output clutching assembly drivingly engaged with the third clutching assembly.
