REVERSE GEAR SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
A system and method for operating the same includes a drive sprocket assembly, a clutch lever, a user interface generating a reverse signal at a user interface, a wheel speed sensor generating a wheel speed signal, a transmission position sensor generating a transmission position signal and a vehicle control module receiving the reverse signal, the wheel speed signal and the transmission position signal. The vehicle control module engages a reverse gear at a drive sprocket in response to the reverse signal, the wheel speed and transmission gear position and controls the drive sprocket assembly in response to the clutch lever.
Driver Interface
A vehicle driver interface includes a mode selector, such as a shift lever, and two shift paddles. The shift paddles perform different functions according to which driving mode is selected via the mode selector. In a manual mode, driver activation of one of the shift paddles results in an upshifts and driver activation of the other shift paddle results in a downshift. In a snowplow mode, driver activation of one of the shift paddles shifts the transmission to reverse while driver activation of the other shift paddle shifts the transmission to forward.
METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR CONTROLLING DRIVING STATES OF A UTILITY VEHICLE
A method is provided for alternately triggering driving states of a utility vehicle. The method includes providing a control element and a transmission selectively engageable in a forward driving state (F) for forward travel of the utility vehicle, a reverse driving state (R) for reverse travel, and a standstill driving state (S) for a stationary output of the transmission without disconnection of the drivetrain in the utility vehicle. The method further includes operating the transmission in a current driving state, operably selecting a target driving state while operating in the current driving state, and controllably triggering the transmission to the standstill driving state before shifting the transmission to the target driving state.
CONTROL APPARATUS FOR TRANSMISSION OF AGRICULTURAL WORK VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR TRANSMISSION OF AGRICULTURAL WORK VEHICLE
The present invention relates to a control apparatus and a control method for a transmission of an agricultural work vehicle, the control apparatus comprising: a forward/backward clutch of a forward/backward shifting unit that performs forward/backward shifting with respect to drive generated by an engine; and a drive clutch of a drive shifting unit that performs drive shifting with respect to the drive generated by the engine
Control device for automatic transmission
A control device for an automatic transmission includes a continuously variable transmission mechanism, a torque converter, a target transmission ratio calculation unit, a feedback control unit, and a phase compensation unit. The torque converter has a lock-up clutch. The target transmission ratio calculation unit is configured to calculate a target transmission ratio based on a travelling state. The feedback control unit is configured to perform feedback control based on an actual value indicative of a state of the continuously variable transmission mechanism. The phase compensation unit is configured to perform phase lead compensation of the feedback control based on the travelling state. The phase compensation control unit is configured to halt the phase lead compensation when an unstable travelling state of a vehicle is detected. The phase compensation control unit is further configured to release the lock-up clutch when the phase lead compensation is halted.
Gearbox for a vehicle
A gearbox for a vehicle includes: a housing; first and second shafts extending parallel to one another; first transmission gears mounted to the first shaft; and second transmission gears mounted to the second shaft. The transmission gears are helical gears. The first transmission gears are in constant mesh with the second transmission gears to form a plurality of gear pairings engageable to operate the gearbox in different gears. A drive gear is mounted to an input shaft extending into the housing. The input shaft is operatively connected to an engine of the vehicle. A driven gear is mounted to the second shaft and is configured to engage the drive gear. The drive and driven gears are spur gears. A flexible driving member is configured to drivingly connect one of the first shaft and the second shaft to an output shaft. A snowmobile including a gearbox is also contemplated.
Vehicle control system
A vehicle control system includes: an operation element; a travel control unit configured to accelerate or decelerate a vehicle; and a shift range control unit configured to control a shift range of the vehicle. In a state where the shift range of the vehicle is set to a first travel range, the travel control unit accelerates the vehicle according to a moving operation on the operation element in a first travel direction and decelerates the vehicle according to the moving operation on the operation element in a second travel direction. In a state where the shift range of the vehicle is set to a second travel range, the travel control unit accelerates the vehicle according to the moving operation on the operation element in the second travel direction and decelerates the vehicle according to the moving operation on the operation element in the first travel direction.
