P-RANGE ENGAGEMENT METHOD OF VEHICLE AND CONTROL DEVICE THEREOF
A P-range engagement method of the vehicle and a device thereof are disclosed. The P-range engagement method is applied to the vehicle equipped with an electronic shift lever, and the method includes performing the vehicle stopping process based on detection of stopping of a traveling vehicle through a control device, holding wheel disks of the vehicle through a controller that is controlled by the control device, comparing the vehicle stopped time period, which is measured by the control device, with a predetermined reference value stored in the control device to determine whether the vehicle stopped time period exceeds the predetermined reference value, and upon determining that the vehicle stopped time period exceeds the predetermined reference value, determining whether conditions for performing P-range engagement are satisfied, and upon determining that the conditions for performing the P-range engagement are satisfied, completing the P-range engagement.
Apparatus and method for parking control of vehicle
Provided are an apparatus and a method for parking control of a vehicle and the method includes a step in which a control unit determines a driver's parking intention by receiving a brake signal, pressure of a master cylinder, and a position of a shift lever from a brake switch, a pressure detection unit, and a shift lever detection unit, respectively; a step in which the control unit determines a state of the vehicle by receiving an inclination, a wheel speed, and a vehicle speed from an inclination detection unit, a wheel speed detection unit, and a vehicle speed detection unit, respectively; a step in which the control unit determines a state of an electronic parking brake; and a step in which the control unit operates the electronic parking brake through an EPB driving unit.
Drive device for PTO shaft of working machine
A drive device for a PTO shaft includes a parking switch to detect a parking state of a vehicle body, a permission switch constituted of a self-returning switch and connected to the parking switch, the permission switch being configured to be switched to permit driving a PTO shaft, the PTO shaft being configured to be driven by a power of a prime mover disposed on the vehicle body, and a first switch device to be switched to enable the PTO shaft to be driven when the permission switch is switched to permit driving the PTO shaft under a state where the parking switch detects the parking state of the vehicle body.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE AND MOTOR VEHICLE
A method for operating a dual clutch transmission of a motor vehicle having a first partial transmission, a second partial transmission, and a transmission output shaft common to the partial transmissions and drivable both by the first partial transmission and by the second partial transmission, in which the dual clutch transmission is in a parking lock state in which two gears of one of the partial transmissions are engaged simultaneously. The following steps are carried out to exit the parking lock state: Introducing a torque caused by a drive element of the motor vehicle via the transmission output shaft common to the one partial transmissions into the one and/or other partial transmission while the gears of the partial transmission are engaged; and disengaging at least one of the gears of the one partial transmission engaged simultaneously in step a).
Vehicle transmissions having a park function
In response to driver selection of PARK, a vehicle transmission is commanded to momentarily select and hold NEUTRAL before PARK, while a vehicle wheel brake is applied. Such an arrangement avoids trapping torque in the driveline, and thus can obviate pawl ‘thump’ when PARK is next disengaged.
Method of operating a vehicle and a vehicle
A method of operating a vehicle having an engine, a throttle valve and a throttle operator. A continuously variable transmission operatively connected to the engine has a driving pulley, a driven pulley, and a belt operatively connecting the driving and driven pulleys. A ground engaging member is operatively connected to the driven pulley. A piston is operatively connected to the driving pulley for applying a piston force thereto and thereby changing an effective diameter of the driving pulley. A control unit controls actuation of the piston and the piston force. The method includes detecting a stall condition indicative of the vehicle being stalled, and, responsive to the detection, setting the piston force to be zero.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
A method of controlling an automatic transmission mounted on a vehicle having an automatic engine stop mechanism for automatically stopping and restarting an engine, is provided. The transmission includes a piston having first and second surfaces, friction plates, engaging and disengaging hydraulic pressure chambers, a hydraulic pressure control valve for supplying/discharging hydraulic pressure to/from the chambers, first and second oil paths communicating the control valve with the chambers, a pressure reducing valve for preventing pressure of the disengaging chamber from exceeding a given set pressure, a hydraulic pressure supply device for supplying pressure to the control valve in the automatic stop state, and a mechanical oil pump for supplying pressure to the control valve while the engine is driving, the second surface having a larger pressure receiving area than the first surface. The method includes adjusting the set pressure to be lower in the automatic stop state than while driving.
Gear engagement method for a hybrid vehicle
A gear engagement method for a hybrid vehicle includes detecting whether or not baulking occurs when a controller attempts to engage a target gear via a synchronizer. The gear engagement method also includes checking, by the controller, for a stationary state of the vehicle if the result of the detecting shows that there is baulking. The gear engagement method also includes engaging, by the controller via the synchronizer, a different gear that shares a same input shaft with the target gear if the result of the checking shows that the vehicle is in a stationary state. The gear engagement method also includes reattempting an engagement with the target gear after disengaging the different gear. The disengaging and the reattempting are performed by the controller via the synchronizer after the engaging.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE ENGAGEMENT AND/OR DISENGAGEMENT OF A PARKING LOCK OF A TRANSMISSION OF A VEHICLE, IN PARTICULAR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A method for controlling the engagement and/or disengagement of a parking lock of a transmission of a vehicle, in particular of a motor vehicle
