A shift device mounted on a vehicle includes a motor configured to drive, by electric power supplied from a power supply mounted on the vehicle, a shift switching member configured to switch shift positions, a cut-off unit configured to cut off conduction of a power supply line through which the electric power is supplied to the motor, and a drive circuit unit configured to output the electric power to the motor and including a driving switching element configured to execute a switching operation. The shift device is configured to determine an abnormality of the power supply line when a voltage of the power supply line is smaller than a predetermined threshold value, turn off the driving switching element, and cut off the conduction of the power supply line by the cut-off unit.
Methods and system for engine control during gear shifting in a hybrid electric vehicle
Methods and systems are provided for controlling engine operation in response to a request to shift a transmission gear. In one example, a method may include maintaining operating conditions of an engine and redirecting electric power generated via the engine from a traction motor to a battery in response to a request to shift a transmission while the driveline is operating in a series mode. In this way engine efficiency may be improved and a time frame for shifting a transmission gear may be reduced responsive to a gear shift request while the powertrain is operating in series mode.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE TRANSMISSION
The invention relates to a hydraulic system for a vehicle transmission, comprising: a hydraulic circuit arranged for generating a pressure, a hydraulic actuator arranged for engaging a park lock system, wherein the hydraulic actuator is hydraulically connected to the hydraulic circuit for actuation of the hydraulic actuator using the pressure, and a back-up system configured to keep he pressure above a predetermined pressure threshold for maintaining an actuation of the hydraulic actuator for a predetermined period of time in case of an operational interruption of a transmission control unit of the vehicle.

An actuator for the actuation of at least one movable member of a motor vehicle transmission. The actuator includes a housing and a cover defining an internal volume in which are received at least one electric motor having a stator and a rotor mounted on a rotor shaft extending along an axis X1, a motor pinion fixed to the opposite end of the shaft to the rotor, a reduction mechanism driven by the motor pinion, a pin mounted so as to be able to rotate at the end of a shaft extending along an axis X3 and able to be engaged in the movable member of the transmission. The shaft of the pin is rotationally guided by a rolling bearing and a slide bearing.
ACTUATOR FOR THE ACTUATION OF AT LEAST ONE MOVABLE MEMBER, IN PARTICULAR FOR CHANGING GEAR RATIOS IN A MOTOR VEHICLE TRANSMISSION
An actuator for the actuation of at least one movable member of a motor vehicle transmission. The actuator includes a housing and a cover defining an internal volume in which are received at least one electric motor having a stator and a rotor mounted on a rotor shaft extending along an axis X1, a motor pinion fixed to the opposite end of the shaft from the rotor, a circuit board for supplying power to the stator and controlling the electric motor, and a reduction mechanism driven by the motor pinion. The housing or the cover includes an electrical connector which incorporates a semipermeable membrane allowing an exchange of gas between the inside of the actuator and the external surroundings.
Control device for shift-by-wire system
A control device supplies electric power to a shift-by-wire system to a sub power supply until starting of an engine by automatic start control is completed after the engine has been stopped by automatic stop control. The control device performs a stopped range switching process in response to outputting of a signal for requiring switching of a shift range from a selection device when electric power is supplied from the sub power supply to the shift-by-wire system. In the stopped range switching process, the shift range is switched to a selected shift range when a voltage of the sub power supply is equal to or greater than a threshold value. On the other hand, the shift range is switched to a neutral range when the voltage of the sub power supply is less than the threshold value.
Actuator for the actuation of at least one movable member, in particular for changing gear ratios in a motor vehicle transmission
An actuator for the actuation of at least one movable member of a motor vehicle transmission.

The shift device is configured to determine an abnormality of the power supply line when a voltage of the power supply line is smaller than a predetermined threshold value, turn off the driving switching element, and cut off the conduction of the power supply line by the cut-off unit.
Load drive system
A load drive system, capable of providing certainty about instructions transmitted from a load control device to a load drive device as well as suppressing an increase of processing load, includes an ECU, a drive device, a communication bus to which the ECU and the drive device are connected, and a third signal line different from the communication bus connecting the ECU and the drive device. The ECU generates a frame including a drive instruction message, and transmits the message to the drive device via the communication bus. The drive device receives the frame via the communication bus, and extracts the drive instruction message from data of data field in the received frame. The drive device converts the drive instruction message into a load drive signal, and notifies the converted load drive signal to the ECU via the third signal line.
