LINEAR SYSTEM FOR A MANUFACTURING PLANT AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING SUCH A LINEAR SYSTEM
A system includes a linear guide, drive device, spindle nut and spindle extending along an axis. The spindle nut is arranged on the spindle, with the spindle nut and spindle engaged. The drive device connects to the spindle nut in a torque-proof manner to rotate the spindle nut about the axis, moving the spindle parallel to the axis. The spindle has a spindle groove extending parallel to the axis on an outer circumferential side. The linear guide includes a guide housing arranged in a torque-proof manner, and a ledge element. The guide housing has a radially outwardly extending receptacle. The ledge element includes a radially outwardly disposed carrier and a ledge radially inwardly of the carrier, connected to the carrier and extending parallel to the axis. The ledge element engages the carrier in the receptacle and the ledge in the spindle groove, guiding the spindle parallel to the axis.
Ball screw and spindle nut therefor
A spindle nut (S) for a ball screw is conventionally designed as a hollow cylinder with a central-symmetrical middle longitudinal axis (Z). The spindle nut has an internal thread, which is designed as a ball groove (K) arranged on the cylinder inner surface. Pairs of load-relief bores (B) serve as substantially cylindrical channels for guiding the balls out of and into the ball channel (K) through the wall of the spindle nut. Each load-relief bore (B) is distinguished by a generatrix (L), which has an intersection point (C) with the thread base line of the ball channel (K) and constitutes the geometric continuation of the traveling path of a ball from the ball channel (K) into the load-relief bore (B). A tangent (T) to the cylinder surface (G) runs in a parallel manner at a spacing a >0 to the generatrix (L), both T and L being perpendicular to a common normal (R) to the middle longitudinal axis (Z).
Actuator lower attachment
A screw actuator having a screw shaft and a nut arrangement is described herein, the nut arrangement comprising: a primary nut; a first secondary nut having a first thread; a second secondary nut having a second thread; and a first attachment means. The first nut, first secondary nut, and second secondary nut are connected to the first attachment means with a first, initial, axial spacing between the first and second secondary nuts. The first secondary nut is mounted to the first attachment means via bearings that allow the first secondary nut to rotate relative to the first attachment. The first secondary nut is connected to the second secondary nut via a screw thread connection having a pitch lower than a pitch of a screw thread of the screw actuator shaft.
BALL SCREW DRIVE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A BALL SCREW DRIVE
A ball screw drivel, in particular for a parking brake, comprises a threaded spindle, a spindle nut, and rolling bodies, namely balls, which are arranged in a thread turn between the threaded spindle and the spindle nut, Spring elements are arranged in the thread turn between nut-side stops. There is at least one setting of the threaded spindle and the spindle nut in which the balls and the spring elements are arranged in the thread turn with backlash.
POWER-ASSISTED STEERING FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A power assisted steering system may include a threaded spindle that engages in a spindle nut, extends in a direction of a spindle axis, and is axially displaceable in a housing; and a drive unit having a gearwheel that is connected to the spindle nut in a rotationally fixed manner, can be driven rotatably about the spindle axis, and is rotatably mounted in the housing in a bearing arrangement. The bearing arrangement may have at least one bearing outer ring that is axially supported on the housing at an end face via a spring element, that is received coaxially in a sleeve element, and that is held radially in the housing. The spring element may be formed as a spring portion, and the sleeve element may be formed as a sleeve portion that is connected in one piece to the spring portion, on a one-piece carrier sleeve.
Electro-hydraulic linear ball screw actuators
An electro-hydraulic linear ball screw actuator preferably includes an electric motor, a hydraulic tube, an actuator ball screw, a ball nut device, an actuator rod and at least one external hydraulic flow passage. The actuator ball screw is rotated by the electric motor. The ball nut device includes a ball nut base, a piston portion and a rod thread. The ball nut device is retained in the hydraulic tube. The ball nut base includes a plurality of ball bearings, which engage ball threads on the actuator ball screw. The actuator rod is retained on the piston portion. Rotation of the electric motor causes the actuator rod to extend or retract. A first hydraulic chamber is located behind the piston portion and a second hydraulic chamber is located in front of the piston portion. The at least one external hydraulic flow passage transfers hydraulic fluid between the first and second chambers.
Steering column actuator assembly travel stop
An adjustment actuator assembly for a vehicle steering system includes a leadscrew having a threaded outer surface and at least one pocket recessed radially inwardly from an outer diameter of the threaded outer surface. The adjustment actuator assembly also includes a nut having a threaded inner surface engaged with the threaded outer surface of the leadscrew, the nut axially moveable along the leadscrew during rotation of the leadscrew. The adjustment actuator assembly further includes a travel stop limiter operatively coupled to the nut, the travel stop limiter having a leg extending through an opening of the nut and spring biased into contact with the threaded outer surface of the leadscrew and moveable into the pocket of the leadscrew to limit axial translation of the nut.
Linear motion system
A linear motion system comprises a guiding member, a moving member, a plurality of rolling members and a preload adjusting module. The moving member is slidably disposed on the guiding member. The moving member and the guiding member together form a circulation path. When the guiding member moves with relative to the moving member, the moving member can generate a linear movement with relative to the guiding member. The rolling members are accommodated in the circulation path. The preload adjusting module is disposed on the moving member, and comprises a preload assembly and a preload regulator. The preload regulator applies a thrust to the preload assembly to adjust a preload value generated by the rolling members and applied to the moving member.
