Multi-speed transmission system and operating method
Methods and systems are provided for a multi-speed transmission. The multi-speed transmission includes a housing, an electric motor with a stator and a rotor positioned within the housing, and a planetary assembly positioned on a first axial side of the electric motor. The transmission further includes a first and second clutch unit spaced away from one another, each including a synchronizer, and designed to selectively rotationally couple to the rotor and to rotationally couple the rotor to different gears in the planetary assembly and where the electric motor and planetary assembly are coaxially arranged.
VEHICLE ELECTRIC DRIVE AXLE
An electric drive axle in a vehicle is provided. The electric drive axle includes, in one example, an electric motor-generator, a gearbox, and a differential. The gearbox comprises a planetary gear set that includes a sun gear configured to rotate on a sun gear shaft directly coupled to a rotor of the electric motor-generator and an intermediate shaft that includes an idler gear rotationally coupled to a pinion gear that is rotationally coupled to the carrier.
Power transmission device
A power transmission device includes a motor having a motor shaft, a transmission mechanism, a reduction gear, and a case member. The transmission mechanism is connected downstream of the motor. The transmission mechanism has a band brake, and an actuator. A reduction gear is arranged downstream of the transmission mechanism. The case member houses the motor, at least a part of the transmission mechanism, and the reduction gear. The case member has an outer circumference wall that surrounds an outer circumference with respect to a radial direction perpendicular to a rotation axis of the motor shaft, and a side wall that is linked to the outer circumference wall, and that extends outwardly in the radial direction from the outer circumference wall. The actuator is provided adjacent to the outer circumference wall, and adjacent to the side wall, the actuator overlapping with the band brake in the radial direction.
Axle assembly having an interaxle differential unit
An axle assembly having an interaxle differential unit. The interaxle differential unit includes first and second side gears and a gear nest but does not have a case. The gear nest includes a spider having at least one spider shaft, a pinion gear that is rotatably disposed on the spider shaft, and a pinion gear retainer that is fastened to the spider shaft to retain the pinion gear.
One-way component of transmission mechanism
A transmission mechanism includes first and second transmission, first and second shafts, a clutch, and a one-way bearing. In the first gear, power is output through the first driving transmission and the one-way bearing; and in the second gear, the power is output through the clutch, the second driving transmission and the one-way bearing.

The integrated motor controller includes a drive motor control unit and an oil pump motor control unit. The integrated transmission gearbox, the integrated motor controller, the drive motor, the oil pump motor, the oil pump and the vehicle controller are completely integrated and mounted to form the liquid-cooled integrative power system for electric forklift.
Speed reduction assembly and a vehicle that utilizes the speed reduction assembly
A speed reduction assembly for an electric vehicle includes an electric machine configured to operate as a motor and as a generator. The electric machine includes an output shaft that is rotatable about a longitudinal axis at an output speed. The assembly also includes an output member coupled to the output shaft and rotatable about the longitudinal axis at a reduced speed. In addition, the assembly includes a pericyclic apparatus coupled to the output shaft and the output member to reduce the output speed of the output shaft to the reduced speed of the output member. A vehicle may include the speed reduction assembly in certain configurations. The vehicle includes a battery module and the electric machine is in electrical communication with the battery module to recharge the battery module when the electric machine operates as the generator.

BEARING SUPPORT FOR PARALLEL ELECTRIC AXLE GEAR ASSEMBLY
Bearings (72, 74) are arranged for a drive unit (10) having an electric motor for providing drive to an electric axle and a wheel assembly of a vehicle. The drive unit includes a pair of bearings and a reduction gear assembly (12) with a first drive gear mounted to and coaxial with the main shaft of the motor, and a first driven gear rotatably coupled to the first drive gear and mounted to and coaxial with an intermediate shaft to form an intermediate shaft assembly. The reduction gear assembly includes a second drive gear mounted to and coaxial with the intermediate shaft, and a second driven gear rotatably coupled with the second drive gear. A first bearing of said pair of bearings is mounted to a bulkhead and to said intermediate shaft assembly between the first driven gear and second drive gear to reduce the distance between the first and second bearings.
