The first and second speed transforming gears together include a plurality of transmission gears, wherein the transmission gears are arranged such that successive shifting through respective first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth gears is effected by alternatingly engaging the first coupling member and the second coupling member.

The speed change ratios of an output side first and second transmission mechanisms are set so that the rotational speed developed in a speed change output shaft when the HST output is set to the second HST speed is the same in either the first or second transmission states.

The planet ring gearwheel is rotatably connected or connectable to the first gearwheel. A first gear engaging device is configured to be provided in a first state where it rotationally connects the second gearwheel to the fourth gearwheel and in a second state where it rotationally disconnects the second gearwheel from the fourth gearwheel. The third selectable gear connection is provided by at least setting the first gear engaging device in the first gear engaging device first state.

In a transmission structure according to this invention, speed change ratios of input side first and second transmission mechanisms are set so that the rotational speed of a planetary second element is the same when an HST output is set to a second HST speed in either a first transmission state or a second transmission state, and the rotational speed of a planetary first element is the same when the HST output is set to the second HST speed in either the second transmission state or the first transmission state. The speed change ratios of an output side first and second transmission mechanisms are set so that the rotational speed developed in a speed change output shaft when the HST output is set to the second HST speed is the same in either the first or second transmission states.

A drive transmission device according to one embodiment of the disclosure includes a single differential unit to which rotation of a motor is transmitted and two speed reducers each having an operation output shaft that is coupled to the differential unit and a carrier that changes a speed of the rotation of the operation output shaft and outputs the rotation. The two speed reducers are arranged such that they are opposed to each other along a second rotation axis, and the operation output shaft and the carrier in each speed reducer are aligned in the second rotation axis direction.

A drive transmission device in one embodiment of the disclosure includes a pair of output shafts, a differential, a clutch (power transmission unit), and a control unit. The pair of output shafts connected to a pair of speed reducers that are disposed to face each other. The differential receives a driving force from a drive source and outputs the driving force to the pair of output shafts; The clutch acts on the differential and takes a first state in which a load imbalance between the pair of output shafts is adjusted or a second state in which the pair of output shafts are rotated directly by the driving force. The control unit switches the state of the clutch based on difference information regarding a difference in rotation between the pair of speed reducers.

The invention relates to a multi-speed transmission (10, 110), comprising a power split device (11; 111), an input shaft (12, 112) of the transmission (10, 110) being connected or connectable to prime mover (18, 118), an output shaft (13; 113), two shiftable sub-transmissions (14, 114; 15, 115), each providing a plurality of different gear ratios, and at least one rotating electric machine (16; 116, 116a), connected to said power split device (11; 111), wherein the two sub-transmissions (14, 114; 15, 115) can be connected alternatively to the output shaft (13, 113), and a control system (26; 126, 126a), connecting said electric machine (16; 116, 116a) with an electric battery (27; 127) and auxiliary electrical consumers (31, 131). The electric machine (16; 116, 116a) is connected to the power split device (11; 111) in a way that it allows to reduce torque value down to zero on either an input shaft (20; 120) of the first sub-transmission (14; 114) or on an input shaft (22; 122) of the second sub-transmission (15; 115) by applying different shaft torque levels, and the internal heat generation capacity of the electric machine (16; 116, 116a) exceeds the power capacity of the power line in said control system (26; 126, 126a).
