A torque converter assembly is disclosed herein. The torque converter assembly includes a thrust washer having a radially inner surface configured to engage against a drive shaft. A first axial surface of the thrust washer is configured to contact a cover. A second axial surface of the thrust washer is configured to contact a damper flange. The second axial surface of the thrust washer partially defines a first flow path. The thrust washer further comprises a second flow path configured to direct fluid in a first direction and a third flow path configured to direct fluid in a second direction. The thrust washer disclosed herein both provides an axial thrust bearing feature, and also provides three distinct flow paths or passages.

A torque converter assembly is disclosed herein. The torque converter assembly includes a thrust washer having a radially inner surface configured to engage against a drive shaft. A first axial surface of the thrust washer is configured to contact a cover. A second axial surface of the thrust washer is configured to contact a damper flange. The second axial surface of the thrust washer partially defines a first flow path. The thrust washer further comprises a second flow path configured to direct fluid in a first direction and a third flow path configured to direct fluid in a second direction. The thrust washer disclosed herein both provides an axial thrust bearing feature, and also provides three distinct flow paths or passages.

A torque converter assembly is disclosed that includes a front cover, a clutch plate assembly, a pump cover, and a plate including a base body extending in an axial direction with a first flange on a first end and a second flange on a second end. The first flange can define a friction face configured to engage with a corresponding surface of the clutch plate assembly, and the second flange can define at least one opening configured to receive a fastening element. In one aspect, the plate functions or serves as a reaction plate for the clutch assembly, and also serves as a connection or lug for a flex plate or other component.

TORQUE CONVERTER ANTI-CONTAMINATION PLATE
A torque converter centering sleeve assembly is disclosed herein that includes an anti-contamination plate. The assembly includes a centering sleeve including a body. A plate, i.e. an anti-contamination plate, is arranged inside of the centering sleeve. The plate includes at least a first portion and a second portion in contact with an inner surface of the centering sleeve such that the plate partitions off a pocket defined by the centering sleeve. The plate can be secured to the centering sleeve via a snap fit or press fit.

A hub assembly for a hybrid module having a first and a second connection partner arranged coaxially with one another, the first connection partner has a first bearing portion and the second connection partner has a second bearing portion, and a plurality of connecting elements. The first and the second connection partner are prepositioned with respect to one another via a form-fitting connection such that the receiving openings in the first and the second bearing portion are each oriented in pairs in a positionally correct manner with respect to one another in the circumferential direction about the main axis H.
Torque Convertor with an Insert Molded Thrust Washer
A torque converter includes an impeller, a turbine, a stator, a one-way clutch, and an insert molded thrust washer formed onto a retention mount that is integrally formed on one of the impeller, the turbine, the stator, and the one-way clutch. The retention mount defines an undercut. At least a portion of the insert molded thrust washer is disposed within the undercut. Interference between the retention mount and the insert molded thrust washer mounts the insert molded thrust washer to the retention mount.

A torque converter, including: a cover arranged to receive torque; an impeller and a turbine. The impeller includes an impeller shell non-rotatably connected to the cover and a plurality of impeller blades. The impeller shell includes an interior surface, and defines a plurality of first indentations in the interior surface. Each impeller blade in the plurality of impeller blades including a first tab disposed in a respective first indentation. The turbine is in fluid communication with the impeller and includes a turbine shell and turbine blades fixedly connected to the turbine shell. The first tab is fixedly secured to the impeller shell by a respective first portion of a material forming the impeller shell; or a respective first portion of a material forming the impeller shell contacts the first tab and overlaps the first tab in a first axial direction parallel to an axis of rotation of the torque converter.
