PROJECTION-WELDING SPINNING TENSIONER AND MOLDING METHOD THEREOF
A projection-welding spinning tensioner includes a first spoke and a second spoke. The first spoke includes a first rim end, a first plate end and a first center plate end. The second spoke includes a second rim end, a second plate end and a second center plate end. The first and second spokes have a same structure and are arranged in a mirror-symmetrical manner. Several projection-welding points are disposed on opposing surfaces of the first plate end and/or the second plate end, the projection-welding points are annularly arranged at an interval, the projection-welding points are arranged in a form of a concentric circle to form a least two annular arrangements, welded fixation of the first plate end and the second plate end is completed through the projection-welding points. A cavity groove for holding a bearing is formed inside after the first and second center plate ends are docked.
ASYMMETRIC SPOKE DESIGN FOR TORSIONAL VIBRATION DAMPERS
Torsional vibration dampers (TVDs) having a plurality of spokes that are asymmetric by having a changing spoke thickness in the angular direction with the greatest thickness at the position where the belt torque and the dynamic torque of the TVD act in unison are disclosed. The spokes, which connect a central member to a peripheral rim, include an asymmetrical thickness in an angular direction, as evidenced by a cross-section view transverse to a radial length of each of the plurality of spokes. Engine systems having one of the disclosed TVDs mounted to a shaft are also disclosed, for example a TVD mounted to a crankshaft.

WATER PUMP AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WATER PUMP
A water pump has a pump housing 2 having therein a pump chamber 3; a drive shaft 7 rotatably supported in the pump housing 2; a pulley 5 having a flange wall 5a fixed to one end portion of the drive shaft 7, the pulley 5 being formed integrally with the drive shaft 7 with synthetic resin material containing glass fiber material 25; and an impeller 8 secured to the other end portion of the drive shaft 7 so as to be able to rotate integrally with the drive shaft 7, the impeller 8 being accommodated in the pump chamber 3. Six penetration holes 23 are formed at the flange wall 5a, and the glass fiber material 25 existing around the penetration hole 23 is oriented at random. With this, decrease in strength of the pulley can be suppressed.
Pulley with drive feature for belt installation
The present disclosure provides a pulley, comprising a cylindrical wall having an outer surface with a plurality of circumferential grooves configured to receive a corresponding plurality of ribs on an inner surface of an elastic belt, a web connected to an inner surface of the cylindrical wall, a central hub connected to the web, the central hub comprises a central opening sized to be press-fit onto a drive shaft, and a drive feature configured to mate with a drive tool, thereby facilitating rotation of the pulley using the drive tool.
Torsional damper
In a torsional damper, a damper mass is connected to a hub through a damper rubber. The hub is provided with a boss fixed to a crankshaft and a rim holding the damper rubber. The boss and the rim are coupled by plurality of spokes. The plurality of spokes each has an inclined shape inclined in the axial direction. Reinforcement portion is provided in the spokes in one direction corresponding to a bending vibration to be input among the plurality of spokes.

Pulley insert
Methods and systems are provided for a pulley insert. In one example, a pulley insert for a FEAD pulley comprises a first member insertable into a pulley such that the first member is rotatable within the pulley, the first member comprising a cavity for receipt of a second member; and a second member insertable into the cavity of the first member such that, when the first member is inserted into a pulley and the second member is inserted into the cavity of the first member, the second member prevents rotation of the first member relative to the pulley.
