PULLEY AND STRUCTURE HAVING THE SAME CONNECTED WITH DRIVEN UNIT
A pulley and a structure having the pulley connected with a driven unit are provided. The pulley includes a wheel portion and a lug portion. The wheel portion includes two circular end surfaces opposing each other and a side surface connecting the two end surfaces. The side surface includes a main arc face and a branch arc face. The branch arc face has a head end connected to the main arc face and a tail end configured to connect a strap. The branch arc face has a width in an axial direction of the wheel portion smaller than a width of the main arc face. The lug portion is fixed to the wheel portion, disposed at a position adjacent to the branch arc face along the width of the main arc face and extends to protrude beyond the branch arc face in a radial direction of the wheel portion.
Variable transmissions with nested pulleys
A variety of transmission mechanisms are provided that include split pulleys nested within each other in order to reduce the size of the transmissions, to provide infinitely variable transmission ratios that include forward and reverse ratios, or to provide some other benefits. The transmissions include multiple inner split pulleys nested within an outer split pulley. Two, three, or more inner split pulleys can be disposed within the transmission to balance the mass of the inner split pulleys in order to reduce vibration and internal stresses experienced by the transmission. This can increase the lifespan of the transmission, reduce wear, and increase efficiency. Additionally, providing multiple inner split pulleys in a nested configuration can allow for reduction of loads transmitted through bearings of the transmission.
Transmission wheel and a method for its mounting
A transmission wheel assembled of at least two segments (1) on a shaft (12), the inner arc surface (3) of which and the shaft (12) have essentially the same radius (R), and which segments' (1) outer surfaces (9) have profiled surfaces that transmit the power of the transmission wheel. Between the segments' (1) welded-together end faces (4) there are gaps on those sections of the end faces (4) that are not welded, which creates a press fit between the shaft (12) and the inner arc surface (3) of the transmission wheel. The weld connecting the transmission wheel segments' (1) end faces (4) may be incomplete, meaning that it does not reach the shaft (12).
Pulley device, in particular for tensioning idler or runner roller
A pulley device for supporting a belt of chain tensioning idler or a runner roller includes a bearing having an outer ring mounted for rotation relative to a coaxial inner ring and at least one pulley part that is C-shaped in cross section. The pulley part has an inner portion with a frustoconical inner surface mounted on an outer cylindrical surface of the outer ring, an outer cylindrical portion having an outer cylindrical surface configured to support a belt or a chain, and an intermediate portion extending radially inward from the cylindrical outer portion to the inner portion. The pulley part is integral and has an open end on an axial side opposite the intermediate portion. The frustoconical surface extends inwardly towards the outer ring, and the inner surface is force fitted onto the outer cylindrical surface of the outer ring.
