Sensor arrangement for angle detection and manual transmission
A sensor arrangement detects an angle of an actuator which is rotationally arranged on a support. The arrangement includes a first sensor element and a second sensor element. The first sensor element can be coupled to the actuator in order carry out a movement with respect to the support in accordance with a rotation of the actuator. The second sensor element can be rotationally fixed on the support and can be coupled to the first sensor element in order to produce, when rotating the actuator and a thus resulting movement between the first sensor element and the second sensor element, a sensor signal which is dependent on the rotation carried out by the actuator.
BICYCLE CONTROLLER, BICYCLE COMPONENT, AND BICYCLE CONTROL SYSTEM
A bicycle controller is configured to communicate with a first bicycle component that transmits a first wireless signal and a second bicycle component that transmits a second wireless signal. The bicycle controller includes an interface configured to receive the first wireless signal and the second wireless signal. The first wireless signal has a center frequency that is a first frequency. The second wireless signal has a center frequency that is a second frequency. The second frequency differs from the first frequency.
Directional shift control in vehicles
The present disclosure relates to a method of controlling gear selection in a transmission of a vehicle in response to a directional shift requested by an operator and to a control system for controlling gear selection to manage directional shifts in vehicles, from a first direct to a second direction (e.g. forward to reverse). The method compares the current transmission output speed with a predetermined direction shift threshold transmission output speed. If the current transmission output speed is less than or equal to the predetermined direction shift threshold transmission output speed, the transmission is caused to execute a direction shift from the initial first direction gear to the same second direction gear, or a next highest second direction gear if there is no second direction gear which corresponds to the initial first direction gear. If the current transmission output speed is greater than the predetermined direction shift threshold transmission output speed, the direction shift is inhibited until the current transmission output speed slows to less than or equal to the predetermined direction shift threshold transmission output speed.
Methods and systems for an actuation system
Methods and systems are provided for an actuation system for a driveline shifting member in a transmission system of a vehicle. In one example, a system may include an actuator coupled to a lever arm via one or more parallel axis gears, and a shaft connecting the lever arm to a driveline shifting member, the lever arm driven via a rolling element housed within a slot in the lever arm aligned with a center of a parallel axis gear of the one or more parallel axis gears.
METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING SHIFT SIGNAL OF ELECTRONIC SHIFT SYSTEM
A method for transmitting a shift signal of an electronic shift system, may include transmitting the shift signal generated at the time of operating a shift operation device, wherein the shift operation device is configured so that one shift stage and one shift signal are matched one to one and transmits shift signals which are each individually separated according to the shift stage.
Shifting system for human-powered vehicle
A shifting system for a human-powered vehicle comprises a controller. The controller is configured to receive a driving torque and a cadence of the human-powered vehicle from at least one sensor. The controller is configured to determine a permitted shift timing based on the driving torque and the cadence. The controller is further configured to control a shift mechanism to perform a gear shift during the permitted shift timing in accordance with a permitted cadence range and a first threshold of the driving torque.
Apparatus for controlling an automatically shifting transmission
In the active transportation mode of a motor vehicle, only the forward gears can be selected. The weakest shift element, in particular the weakest brake or clutch in an automatic transmission, always is closed in the forward gears. Preferably, manual shifting options in an electronically controlled automatic transmission with a manual mode are additionally suppressed.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE
A method for operating a motor vehicle, in particular a passenger vehicle, having at least one drive engine and an automatic transmission. A motor vehicle with conventional shift transmission is imitated by providing a clutch pedal for separating the drive connection, a shift lever for the manual shifting of the gear ratios, and an electronic control unit, by which the functions of clutching and shifting are converted into corresponding control signals for the automatic transmission.
Driver Interface
A vehicle driver interface includes a mode selector, such as a shift lever, and two shift paddles. The shift paddles perform different functions according to which driving mode is selected via the mode selector. In a manual mode, driver activation of one of the shift paddles results in an upshifts and driver activation of the other shift paddle results in a downshift. In a snowplow mode, driver activation of one of the shift paddles shifts the transmission to reverse while driver activation of the other shift paddle shifts the transmission to forward.
Electronic shifting of a transmission
A recreational vehicle is provided including a power source, such as an engine or an electric motor, and a transmission having a variable gear ratio. A sub-transmission coupled to an output of the transmission includes a plurality of selectable gear configurations including at least one of a forward gear, a neutral gear, a reverse gear, and a park gear. An electronic controller is operative to electronically control the gear configuration of the sub-transmission.
