VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
In a vehicle equipped with an engine and a shift control mechanism that switches a shift position by rotating a detent plate with an electric actuator, an electronic control device is an electronic control device including a reference position learning unit that executes a learning of a reference position of the actuator that serves as a reference for switching the shift control mechanism by the actuator when a starting condition that is set in advance is satisfied, and includes a drive wheel rotation suppression unit that suppresses a rotation of a drive wheel of the vehicle while the learning of the reference position is being executed by the reference position learning unit.
Pipette calibration and volume offset mechanism
A pipette calibration and volume offset mechanism. The calibration and volume offset mechanism is provided to facilitate user selectable calibration or volume offset operations of a pipette to which the calibration and volume offset mechanism is installed, through axial displacement of a threaded element that effectively moves the home position of the pipette. An offset counter of the calibration and volume offset mechanism is rotationally coupled to the threaded element during a volume offset operation to indicate offset magnitude, but decoupled from threaded element during a calibration or recalibration operation.

Actuator gearbox with selectable linkages
An actuator gearbox includes a drive shaft including a plurality of gear linkages that are spaced apart along the drive shaft, and a plurality of output shafts adjacent respective ones of the plurality of gear linkages. Each of the gear linkages includes a fixed gear coupled to one of the plurality of output shafts and a moving gear that is slideably coupled to the drive shaft. A bias spring is coupled to the moving gear to urge the moving gear out of engagement with the fixed gear. The mechanical switch moves the moving gear into engagement with the fixed gear on the output shaft adjacent the linkage to thereby cause the output shaft to rotate in response to rotation of the drive shaft.
Continuously variable speed transmission and steering differential
The present concept is a continuously variable speed transmission and steering differential. It includes a laterally extending central drive axle driven by an external power source, two pairs of drive sheaves mounted to drive axles, and a means for transmitting rotational energy from the drive sheaves to the drive axles. There are two extended shift arms spaced apart for controlling the positioning of movable drive sheaves. Narrowing or increasing the gap between shift arms, does the same for the gap between the drive sheaves, increasing or decreasing the gear ration respectively which provides speed control. Shifting the shift arms left or right varies the gear ratio between the left and right pair of sheaves, providing differential speed between the left and right driven axles, which provides steering control.
TRANSMISSION STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE

Gear shifting assembly of transmission, transmission and automobile
A gear shifting assembly of a transmission, a transmission, and an automobile. The present disclosure aims to address the problem of complicated structure existing in a gear shifting assembly or the like. To this end, the gear shifting assembly of a transmission according to the present disclosure includes a P-gear mechanism and a forward-gear mechanism, wherein the gear shifting assembly further includes a drive mechanism and a shifting mechanism, and the shifting mechanism is configured to be capable of switching the drive mechanism so that the P-gear mechanism or the forward-gear mechanism is in an operational state. By employing the common drive mechanism, the gear-shifting function of forward gears and the function of parking at the P-gear can be realized without interference, and on the basis of function integration, elements are saved so that the gear shifting assembly is made more compact in structure.
