Manual transmission and actuating device for a manual transmission

An actuating device for actuating gear shifting units of a manual transmission has deflectable transmission elements assigned to a respective gear shift unit for changing the gear ratio, a movable actuating element, and gear shift elements assigned thereto. The gear shift elements are movable together with the actuating element and are arranged in two gear shift groups. Dependent on a selecting position of the actuating element, the gear shift elements are coupled with coupling means for deflecting the transmission elements by means of a shifting movement. The shifting movement is independent of the selecting movement. The selecting position can be changed in selecting steps that are delimited by a selecting step length. At least one first gear shift element has an interconnected first gear shift length which is greater than the selecting step length.

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING SHIFT MECHANISM FOR VEHICLE

A system and method of controlling a shift mechanism for a vehicle, includes a shift determination unit configured to determine information on a shifting stage of the vehicle according to an operation of the shift mechanism; and a control unit configured to receive the information on the shifting stage from the shift determination unit and to transmit a signal such that vibration is generated in the shift mechanism when the shifting stage switched by operation of the shift mechanism is a drivable shifting stage, wherein when a driver operates the shift mechanism to switch a shifting stage to a drivable shifting stage, a signal according to the corresponding shifting stage is transmitted to enable the driver to recognize the switched shifting stage and thus to prevent erroneous operation, ensuring driving safety.

Gear selection and shifting actuating mechanism and method

An actuating mechanism includes a gear shifting motor, a first transmission gear, second transmission gears, gear shifting screws, a push block, a shift fork, a shift block and a linear driving device. An output shaft of the gear shifting motor is provided thereon with the first transmission gear engaged with the second transmission gears; the second transmissions gears are fixedly connected to the gear shifting screws; the gear shifting screws are in screw thread connection with the push block provided thereon with a through hole; one end of the shift block is connected to the linear driving device, and the other end is aligned with a groove on the shift fork after inserting into the through hole. The linear driving device corresponding to a shift position drives the shift block; the gear shifting motor drives the first transmission gear; and the second transmission gears drive the gear shifting screws.

An axle disconnect assembly, including: a housing and a clutch a shaft with first splines; a sleeve including second splines non-rotatably connected to the first splines, and axially extending teeth; a shift lever including at least one pivot pin, a first end connected to the sleeve, and a second end; and an actuation assembly including an actuation shaft engaged with the second end of the shift lever, and an actuator. In a connect mode, the teeth are non-rotatably connected to a power output. In a disconnect mode, the sleeve is rotatable with respect to the power output. To shift from the disconnect mode to the connect mode: the actuator rotates the actuator shaft; the actuator shaft pivots the shift lever around an axis of the at least one pivot pin; and the first end of the shift lever displaces the sleeve, with respect to the shaft, in an axial direction.

A power transmission control apparatus for a vehicle c has a plurality of fork shafts coupled with “sleeves engageable with free-rotating gears”, including first and second fork shafts. When both the first and second fork shafts are in neutral positions, the first and second fork shafts are not coupled in the axial direction so that, while one fork shaft is maintained in its neutral position, the other fork shaft is movable by an actuator from its neutral position to its meshing position. When the one fork shaft is in its neutral position and the other fork shaft is in its meshing position, the first and second fork shafts are coupled in the axial direction so that, when the one fork shaft is moved from its neutral position to its meshing position by the actuator, the other fork shaft is simultaneously moved from its meshing position to its neutral position.
