An atomizer for an electronic cigarette and an electronic cigarette are presented. The atomizer comprises a substrate, a heating device and a cover member. The substrate is provided with a mounting space. One end of the heating device is inserted into the mounting space and partially extends to the outside through the substrate to form a controlling member, and the other end is exposed to the outer surface of the substrate. When the controlling member is pressed into the substrate by an external pressing force, the heating device is pushed to move toward the outside of the substrate along the mounting space and partially extends out of the substrate. The cover member is detachably mounted to the substrate and covers the controlling member. The technical solution of the present invention is convenient for the user to disassemble and replace the heating device inside the atomizer, effectively saving the use cost.

MARITIME GLAZING SYSTEM AND SEALING METHODS

Systems and methods including various glazing devices are provided for attaching a window to a frame of a boating vessel to form a weatherproof seal therebetween.

Aircraft door sealing system and aircraft door arrangement
11565786 · 2023-01-31 · ·

An aircraft door sealing system comprises a resilient sealing element secured to an aircraft door arrangement first element and comprising a sealing lip extending from a sealing member. A rigid counter-bearing element is secured to an aircraft door arrangement second element and cooperates with the sealing element to seal a gap between the first and second elements. The counter-bearing element comprises a first portion cooperating with the sealing member and a second portion cooperating with the sealing lip. The sealing lip and the second portion are positioned relative to each other, and the sealing lip can be resiliently deformed, so that the sealing lip is applied to the second portion and a contact face between the sealing lip and the second portion is formed or increases, when an external pressure acting on an outer face of the sealing lip via the gap, exceeds a threshold value.

Method and apparatus for high pressure sealing

The present technology generally relates to devices, systems and methods for providing robust sealing between surfaces in a pressurized system, such as a chromatography system. In particular, the devices, systems and methods relate to compliant and resilient parts that can be reused and/or reinstalled while providing a pressure tight sealing surface even within a high pressure environment (e.g., 1000 psi or greater).

SOLENOID VALVE

In solenoid valve provided with: a valve case that has an annular collar expanding in a radial direction of an opening, which is opened at an axial end surface, and accommodates a valve body inside; and an annular seal member mounted in an annular recessed groove provided on one axial end surface of the collar of the valve case, the collar includes a through-hole penetrating the collar in an axial direction, and a connecting portion connecting the through-hole and the annular recessed groove, the through-hole has a reduced diameter portion, and the seal member includes an annular portion mounted in the annular recessed groove and a protruding portion protruding at least in the axial direction with respect to the annular portion and penetrating the through-hole, the protruding portion including an enlarged diameter portion having an outer diameter ωD1 (>ωd2) larger than an inner diameter ωd2 of the reduced diameter portion of the through-hole.

SELF-CENTERING SEALING INSERT

An insert with a hole running through its center for a fastening connector to pass through. The self-centering sealing insert in FIG. 1a, has a central hole (pos. 1.1) running through its inner part for the passage of a fastener. Its body is made in the form of two identical truncated cones (pos.1.2 and pos.1.3) combined with their large bases in the center of the body, which tapers to the edges where a central hole is formed; and the truncated cone is part of a right circular cone formed by rotating a rectangular trapezoid around its side with a height of H (FIG. 1c) perpendicular to the bases of the trapezoid; while the radius of the larger base R1.2 is greater than the radius of the smaller base R1.1 so that the value of the angle β, which is formed by the plane between the two bases of the truncated cones and their tapering sides, is in the range from 1 to 89.9 degrees, preferably from 25 to 65, more preferably from 40 to 50, and most preferably at an angle of 45 degrees; while the radius of the larger base R1.2 and the radius of the smaller base R1.1 refers to the height of the lateral side of the rectangular trapezoid, so that the height H is less than or equal to the value of the difference between the radius of the larger base R1.2 and the radius of the smaller base R1.1.
