FLUID CYLINDER SLEEVE ASSEMBLY
A fluid cylinder for a fluid end section of a reciprocating pump is described. The fluid cylinder includes a body defining a pressure chamber in fluid communication with a plunger bore, the plunger bore comprising a packing segment configured to hold a packing stack, and a tubular sleeve in interference-fit within the plunger bore. The sleeve has an internal passage configured to accommodate a plunger operatively reciprocating within the plunger bore during operation of the reciprocating pump, and a stepped shoulder disposed at an interface between a first segment of the sleeve and a second segment of the sleeve, where a diameter of the first segment being greater than a diameter of the second segment of the sleeve. An annular seal is disposed at the stepped shoulder f the sleeve between the sleeve and the plunger bore. A packing flange is secured within the plunger bore abutting an end portion of the first segment of the sleeve.
Automatic wiper for seal stack assembly
Systems and methods include providing an annular seal stack for an assembly. The seal stack assembly is disposed between a probe and a housing of the assembly and configured to provide a radial seal between the probe and the housing. The seal stack assembly includes a first metallic seal, a second metallic seal, and a wiper assembly disposed between the first metallic seal and the second metallic seal. The wiper assembly includes a first wiper housing component having a tapered inner surface, a second wiper housing component having a tapered inner surface opposite the tapered inner surface of the first wiper housing component, and a wiper disposed between the first wiper housing component and the second wiper housing component.
Sealing device for a bearing unit
A sealing device for a bearing unit, the device having a stationary part provided with: a first metal shield, an elastomer coating, co-molded on the first shield, at least one contacting lip, radially internal, belonging to the elastomer coating. The sealing device having a rotatable part provided with a second metal shield on which the contacting lip makes a sliding contact. The second metal shield is provided with a plurality of flow baffles positioned at least on an axially exposed surface of the shield, shaped as recesses realized through the axially exposed surface and distributed along a radially outer peripheral edge of the shield.

Radial seal segment joint
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a segmented radial seal assembly that includes at least two segments, each segment having a first end and a second end at opposite ends. A first segment first end has a protruding feature and defines a tangential vector from a circumferential ring that is formed by the segmented radial seal. The protruding feature defines a curved face having at least a first axis of curvature that is parallel to the tangential vector. The second segment second end has a recessed feature that is matingly engageable to the first segment first end, thereby forming a first radial seal segment joint. The segmented radial seal assembly is configured to surround a shaft.

Seal chain
A seal chain includes two inner link plates opposed to and spaced apart from each other, a tubular bushing, opposite ends of the bushing being respectively joined to the two inner link plates, a pin rotationally inserted into the bushing, a tubular roller into which the bushing is inserted, the roller being rotationally supported by the bushing, and two outer link plates arranged to externally hold the two inner link plates in between, opposite ends of the pin being respectively joined to the two outer link plates. A recess into which an end of the roller is inserted is formed in an inner surface of each of the inner link plates.

Method of manufacturing a wheel hub bearing unit for vehicles and associated wheel hub bearing unit
A wheel hub bearing unit including an outer ring, rolling bodies and an inner ring provided with a flange at a first end thereof, the inner ring being made with a sliding surface for sealing lips of a sealing device arranged so as to protect the rolling bodies, defined by a metal insert formed integrally with the first end and arranged astride a base portion of the flange and a portion of the first end immediately adjacent to the base portion of the flange. The metal insert has a thickness of between 0.2 and 2 mm and being made, using a material different from the material with which the inner ring is manufactured and consisting of an austenitic stainless steel, by means of additive manufacturing.
