A piston accumulator having an accumulator housing (4) and a separating piston (10), which is guided longitudinally displaceable therein, which separates two media chambers (12, 14) from each other and which has a dual sealing system (16), wherein one of the sealing systems (18) faces one media chamber (12) and the other sealing system (20) faces the other media chamber (14), wherein at the location (58) a compensation device is at least partially accommodated in the separating piston (10) between the two sealing systems (18, 20), which compensation device enables hydrostatic pressure compensation between the two sealing systems (18, 20) to prevent an undesirable pressure buildup during operation.

HIGH PRESSURE SEAL ASSEMBLY

A seal assembly includes a seal body and an energizer. The seal assembly is dimensioned to lessen the chance of certain failure modes, such as back jetting of pressurized fluid that gets behind the energizer during a pressurization operation. A ratio of a lateral distance of the seal body to an axial length of the energizer is between 0.400 and 1.7087. A ratio of the lateral distance to an inner radius of the seal body is between 0.10 and 0.401. A ratio of a web thickness of the seal body to the inner radius is between 0.068 and 0.0881. A ratio of the difference between a radial height of the energizer and a groove height of the seal body to the radial height is between 0.050 and 0.155. A ratio of the difference between the radial height and the groove height to the inner radius is between 0.015 and 0.3486.

Speed reducer and drive device

A speed reducer according to the present invention includes: at least one gear member for changing a speed of rotations input from a rotary device and outputting the rotations; a case housing the gear member; and a heating unit provided on the case and configured to heat the case or an inside of the case.

HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP

A seal ring is in contact with an outer peripheral surface of a plunger. A biasing ring is made of a material having a lower fuel resistance than the seal ring, and is provided radially outwardly with respect to the seal ring in a seal chamber so as to bias the seal ring against the plunger. An axial position of a portion of the seal ring where a surface pressure on the plunger is maximum is defined as a maximum surface pressure position. The seal ring has diameter changing portions in both axial directions with respect to the maximum surface pressure position. The diameter changing portions are formed so as to have an outer diameter smaller than that of the portion corresponding to the maximum surface pressure position.

Sealing Arrangement Having A Rod Seal, Output Apparatus For Discharging A Flowable Medium And Rod Seal
20230072100 · 2023-03-09 · ·

A sealing arrangement having a rod seal for sealing a cavity for a flowable medium in the region of a rod includes an output apparatus for discharging the flowable medium. The rod is movably supported in a housing to be displaced in an axial direction. The housing has a bearing portion, wherein the rod seal is supported in a fixed manner and wherein the rod extends through the bearing portion and the rod seal so that a first rod portion and a second rod portion are arranged at different sides of the bearing portion. The first rod portion is located at a side facing the cavity and the second rod portion is located at a side facing away from the cavity. The rod seal is arranged at the side of the bearing portion facing the first rod portion and has a first sealing lip and a second sealing lip that are spaced apart from each other in the axial direction and circumferentially contact the rod. The bearing portion facing the cavity has a discharge structure having a support face which circumferentially surrounds the rod. The rod seal is in abutment with the support face and the support face has a diameter which increases in the direction of the second rod portion.
