Sealing device with dynamic action, particularly for rolling bearings
Sealing device including a first annular element coupled to a first fixed mechanical member, and a second annular element coupled to a second rotating mechanical member, for protecting an annular compartment delimited between the members; the first element being provided with at least one annular sealing lip configured to interact with the second element, which has a radial edge of a flange portion arranged at an edge of a sleeve portion of the first element, thus forming with the latter a radial gap configured as a labyrinth seal; wherein the radial gap of the flange portion of the second annular element carries a plurality of depressions arranged in a crown, spaced adjacently to one another at the radial gap and configured to generate, as a result of the rotation of the second element, a dynamic effect (F) for the purpose of repelling any contaminants impelled towards the radial gap.
WHEEL BEARING
A wheel bearing includes a first seal member disposed between an outer ring and a first outer peripheral surface of a first cylindrical portion of an inner ring and configured to seal between the outer ring and the inner ring; and a second seal member press-fitted to a second cylindrical portion of the inner ring. The second seal member includes a slinger comprising an outer axial end portion spaced apart from the first seal member and a first end surface of the inner ring; a first seal lip coupled to the outer axial end portion of the slinger and comprising a first seal portion in contact with a portion of the first seal member and a second seal portion in contact with a portion of the first cylindrical portion; and a second seal lip coupled to the slinger so as to be spaced apart from the first seal lip.

Magnetic encoder and bearing
A magnet portion 27 of a magnetic encoder 26 includes a magnetic member and a resin, and a highly reliable magnetic encoder 26 having a high magnetic property and enabling to detect a rotational number with high accuracy, and a hub unit bearing 2a are provided. Further, the resin is preferably a thermoplastic resin and further preferably includes a thermoplastic resin including a soft segment in a molecule. Further, the magnetic encoder 26 further includes a fixed member 25 attached with the magnet portion 27 and comprising a magnetic material, and the magnet portion 27 and the fixed member 25 are bonded by an adhering agent including at least one of a phenolic resin based and an epoxy resin based.

Further, the resin is preferably a thermoplastic resin and further preferably includes a thermoplastic resin including a soft segment in a molecule. Further, the magnetic encoder 26 further includes a fixed member 25 attached with the magnet portion 27 and comprising a magnetic material, and the magnet portion 27 and the fixed member 25 are bonded by an adhering agent including at least one of a phenolic resin based and an epoxy resin based.
Bearing seal assembly including a pulse wheel
A bearing seal assembly includes at least one seal unit and at least one pulse wheel attached to the seal unit in an interference-fit and/or a materially bonded manner. The seal unit may include a radially outer member surrounding a radially inner member, the radially inner member may have a cylindrical seal surface and a flange projecting radially outwardly from an end of the seal surface and the radially outer member may have a metal profile element at least partially covered by an elastomer body that defines a first seal lip that directly contacts the cylindrical seal surface of the radially inner member. The pulse wheel may be attached to the radially outer member by a radially inwardly directed flange of the metal profile element overlying a radially outer edge of the pulse wheel.
Bearing seal assembly including a pulse wheel
A bearing seal assembly includes at least one seal unit and at least one pulse wheel attached to the seal unit in an interference-fit and/or a materially bonded manner. The seal unit may include a radially outer member surrounding a radially inner member, the radially inner member may have a cylindrical seal surface and a flange projecting radially outwardly from an end of the seal surface and the radially outer member may have a metal profile element at least partially covered by an elastomer body that defines a first seal lip that directly contacts the cylindrical seal surface of the radially inner member. The pulse wheel may be attached to the radially outer member by a radially inwardly directed flange of the metal profile element overlying a radially outer edge of the pulse wheel.

SEALING DEVICE
A sealing device disposed between inner and outer members that rotate relative to each other for sealing a gap between the inner and outer members, includes a first sealing member to be mounted on the outer member and a second sealing member to be mounted on the inner member. Water-discharging protrusions protrude in a space between the second sealing member and the first sealing member. The water-discharging protrusions are arranged in a circumferential direction. Each protrusion has an inclined side surface intersecting at an acute angle with a rotational direction in which at least one of the inner and outer members rotates. The first sealing member has an annular labyrinth lip protruding toward the flange part of the second sealing member and is not in contact with the second sealing member, the labyrinth lip overlapping the water-discharging protrusions in radial directions and being disposed radially inside the water-discharging protrusions.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SEALING MEMBER AND MOLD THEREFOR
A sealing device seals a gap between an inner member and an outer member that rotate relative to each other. The sealing device includes a sealing member. The sealing member includes a rigid ring including a sleeve part and a flange part, and an elastic ring adhering closely to both surfaces of the flange part. The elastic ring includes an annular circular part and water-discharging protrusions on a side of the sleeve part of the rigid ring. The elastic ring includes an annular part on a side opposite the sleeve part. A mold for manufacturing the sealing member includes a first mold including a cylindrical cavity in which the sleeve part is supported, an annular circular cavity for forming the circular part, protrusion cavities for forming the water-discharging protrusions, and posts disposed in the circular cavity and being brought into contact with the flange part of the rigid ring.
