SEALING RING
A sealing ring includes: a sealing body of a rubber-elastic sealing material; and an intermediate element which is connected to the sealing body. The sealing body includes a retaining collar which delimits an undercut. The intermediate element is arranged in the undercut and assigned to the retaining collar in a non-adhered and non-destructively detachable manner.
Bearing seal
A bearing seal includes at least one first metal-plate element having an attachment region for attaching the first metal-plate element to a bearing inner ring, at least one seal element attached to the first metal-plate element, and at least one spring element configured to press at least one region of the seal element in a radially outward direction. Also a wheel bearing assembly including the bearing seal.
HUB BEARING AND SEAL DEVICE
A hub bearing and a seal device therefore are disclosed. In one example, the hub bearing seal device includes inner and outer rings, a ring-shaped seal, and a seal retaining ring. A metallic framework is provided inside the seal. The seal is fixed to the outer ring via the metallic framework and a seal lip edge is provided on the metallic framework of the seal. The seal lip edge is in contact with the seal retaining ring in interference fit. The seal is further provided with another layer of metallic framework having a different thermal expansion coefficient from that of the metallic framework. Together, the metallic frameworks form a bimetallic sheet type framework. During the operation of the seal device, the bimetallic sheet type framework can adjust the amount of interference between the seal lip edge and the seal retaining ring dynamically according to temperature change.
SEALING ASSEMBLY FOR INSERTION BETWEEN A STATIONARY ANNULAR ELEMENT AND A ROTATING ANNULAR ELEMENT, IN PARTICULAR BETWEEN THE OUTER AND INNER RINGS OF A ROLLING BEARING AND ASSOCIATED WHEEL HUB UNIT
In a wheel hub unit a sealing assembly inserted between a stationary outer ring and a rotating inner ring of a rolling bearing includes a first screen coupled with the outer ring, an elastomeric annular element attached to the first screen, and a second screen faces the first screen and coupled with the inner ring, the second screen having a flange portion with a radially outer edge facing a sleeve portion of the first screen, the first screen having a non-contacting annular lip with a free end substantially flush in a radial direction with the radially outer annular edge, the free end cooperating with the radially outer edge to form a labyrinth seal.
SEAL ASSEMBLY FOR TRUCK HUBS WITH RADIAL LABYRINTH
A seal assembly for a truck wheel hub assembly includes an inner annular case having an axial portion disposable about an axle and a radial portion extending radially outwardly from the axial portion. An outer annular case is coupleable with a hub bore and has a radial portion extending radially inwardly from the bore. An annular elastomeric seal member has a base portion disposed on the outer case and at least one flexible axial seal lip with a first end integrally formed with the base portion and a second, free end sealingly engageable with the radial portion of the inner case. A radial projection extends radially inwardly from the outer case radial portion and has an inner radial end located adjacent to and spaced radially outwardly from the inner case axial portion or an outer circumferential surface disposed about the axle so as to form a labyrinth seal gap.
LOW FRICTION SEAL ASSEMBLY FOR TRUCK HUBS
A seal assembly is for a wheel hub assembly and includes an inner annular case disposable about an axle and having a radial portion extending radially outwardly from the axle. The lip extends generally axially and radially outwardly from the first end to the second end such that the lip is biased radially outwardly by centrifugal force during rotation of the hub to reduce sealing pressure of the lip second end on the inner case radial portion.
LOW FRICTION SEAL ASSEMBLY FOR TRUCK HUBS
A seal assembly is for a wheel hub assembly and includes an inner annular case disposable about an axle and having a radial portion extending radially outwardly from the axle. The lip extends generally axially and radially outwardly from the first end to the second end such that the lip is biased radially outwardly by centrifugal force during rotation of the hub to reduce sealing pressure of the lip second end on the inner case radial portion.
SEALING DEVICE
A sealing device configured to be mounted on a rolling bearing provided for a wheel bearing device, the wheel bearing device including an axle pipe and a rolling bearing being fitted onto an outer circumferential stepped portion formed on an outer circumference of the axle pipe to rotatably support a wheel, the sealing device being mounted between an outer ring and an inner ring. The sealing device includes a slinger member having a first cylindrical portion, a disk portion, and a second cylindrical portion; a core body member having a cylindrical portion and a disk portion; and a seal body made of an elastic material. An inner circumferential face of a seal body cylindrical portion has an inclined portion constituting a labyrinth of which diameter gradually increases toward one side from the other side in the axial direction between the inner circumferential face and the second cylindrical portion.
Sealing device for a bearing unit
A sealing device for a bearing unit, the device having a stationary part provided with: a first metal shield, an elastomer coating, co-molded on the first shield, at least one contacting lip, radially internal, belonging to the elastomer coating. The sealing device having a rotatable part provided with a second metal shield on which the contacting lip makes a sliding contact. The second metal shield is provided with a plurality of flow baffles positioned at least on an axially exposed surface of the shield, shaped as recesses realized through the axially exposed surface and distributed along a radially outer peripheral edge of the shield.
