Valve for an exhaust gas line of an internal combustion engine
A valve for an exhaust gas line of an internal combustion engine in which a closure body is arranged in a duct and is positioned in a recess of a shaft, the closure body being pivotable about a rotation axis of the shaft. The closure body has two sides and a circumferential surface arranged between the two sides. The circumferential surface has sections with different external dimensions. A first external dimension of the circumferential surface of the closure body in a first section is smaller than the smallest internal dimension between end regions of the recess of the shaft in which the closure body sits. A second external dimension of the circumferential surface in a second section is greater than the smallest internal dimension of the recess of the shaft. The circumferential surface contacts the shaft in each of the two end regions of the recess.
Intake control valve and intake apparatus
An intake control valve includes a valve body being made of resin, the valve body configured to be pivotally mounted to a surge tank of an internal combustion engine, the valve body pivoting between an open position and a closed position to for opening and closing a fluid passage formed at a division wall, the division wall dividing inside of the surge tank into two portions; and a bearing being made of metal, the bearing being integrally provided with a first end portion of the valve body by insert molding when resin molding the resin-made valve body.
Butterfly valve
A butterfly valve includes a valve body with an internal flow passage extending in a direction of a flow passage axis, a disk-shaped valve member supported in the internal flow passage rotatably about a rotation axis perpendicular to the flow passage axis and having a spherical valve seat surface in an outer peripheral portion, an annular recessed portion surrounding the internal flow passage on the side surface of the valve body in a direction of the flow passage axis, and a seat ring attached to the annular recessed portion such that a valve seat portion provided in an inner peripheral edge portion thereof projects into the inner flow passage. The valve seat portion has a triangular cross section and is formed such that a bisector of a vertex angle in the triangular cross section of valve seat portion is perpendicular to a tangential line to the valve seat surface.
BUTTERFLY VALVE AND STEM ASSEMBLY
A butterfly valve capable of preventing leakage under demanding environmental and operating conditions. The valve includes two stem seal assemblies. The stem seal assemblies include a first pusher, a first energizer, a second pusher, a second energizer, and a force transmitting member. The force transmitting member is configured to transfer an axial load to the second pusher, which causes the first and second energizer to expand radially to create a secondary and tertiary seals between the stem seal assembly and valve stem. In addition, the force transmitting member is configured to transfer an axial load to the first pusher which creates a primary seal.
BONDED SEAT VALVE
A valve seat includes a first end; a second end positioned opposite from the first end; and a body extending from the first end to the second end, the body defining an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surface defining a main bore extending through the body from the first end to the second end, the main bore defining a main bore axis, the body defining a shaft bore extending from the inner surface to the outer surface, the shaft bore defining a shaft bore axis positioned perpendicular to the main bore axis, the shaft bore defining an inner shaft opening and an outer shaft opening, the body defining a concave seat bearing surface extending around the inner shaft opening.
Welding structure
A welding structure includes, in a cross-section of the first member and the second member when they are seen from an axial direction of the insertion hole, a plurality of welding spots, an outer periphery of the welding spots are each formed with a curve-shaped portion and two side-face portions. When two intersections where the outer side-face portion on the outer periphery of the both-end welding spots and the outer periphery of the second member intersect are defined as a first intersection and a second intersection, a weld angle formed by a first linear line linking the first intersection with a sectional center of the second member and a second linear line linking the second intersection with the sectional center of the second member is set to a first predetermined angle or more.
Rotary control valve having minimized internal fluid leak rate when closed
A rotary control valve that includes a valve body, a valve shaft disposed within a bore of the valve body, a first valve seat disposed within the valve body, a first control element carried by the valve shaft, and a first pressure labyrinth at least partially defined by the first control element. The first control element is movably disposed in the first opening between a closed position, in which the first control element sealingly engages the first valve seat, thereby closing the first opening, and an open position, in which the first control element is spaced from the first valve seat, thereby opening the first opening. When the first control element is in the closed position, the first pressure labyrinth is configured to cause a pressure drop in fluid flowing therethrough, thereby minimizing an internal leak rate of the rotary control valve.
Butterfly valve
A butterfly valve includes a drive unit and a valve unit that are coupled to each other. The drive unit includes a hollow part in which a rod is inserted between a DD motor and an end portion of the drive unit on a coupling side to the valve unit. In the hollow part, a cylindrical magnetic member is placed coaxially with the rod to cover the outer peripheral surface of the rod. A magnetic fluid is filled in a void between the outer peripheral surface of the magnetic member and the inner peripheral surface of the hollow part. The rod is made of a non-magnetic corrosion-resistant alloy.
VALVE DEVICE
A valve device includes: a seal member that is slidably in close contact with an outer peripheral surface of a rotation shaft; and an annular attachment ring that attaches the seal member to a housing. The seal member has a first-side plate part and a second-side plate part sandwiching and holding the seal member in an axial direction of the rotation shaft. An inner peripheral end of the second-side plate part is positioned radially outside beyond an inner peripheral end of the first-side plate part. An outer surface of the first-side plate part includes an outer peripheral-side region positioned radially outside beyond the inner peripheral end of the second-side plate part and an inner peripheral-side region positioned radially inside beyond the outer peripheral-side region. The outer peripheral-side region is positioned on a first side of the axial direction with respect to the inner peripheral-side region.
TOP-LOADED ROTARY VALVE WITH ELLIPTICAL SEALING
A top-loaded rotary valve with elliptical sealing is provided. The valve includes a valve cartridge with a lower cylinder portion having a first flow opening, an upper cylinder portion having a second flow opening, a rotor, and a gasket positioned between respective ends of the lower cylinder portion and the upper cylinder portion. The rotor includes a stem and a disc configured to rotate within the cartridge. The lower cylinder portion and the upper cylinder portion are mated to the gasket along a plane that defines an ellipse along the respective cylinder ends. The disc has perimeter that is similar to the ellipse, and the rotor rotates between a closed position in which the elliptical perimeter of the disc is coincident with the gasket to prevent flow between the flow openings and an open position that permits flow between the flow openings.
