FUEL INJECTION VALVE

Recent exhaust gas regulation requires reduction of an amount and quantity of particulate matter included in an exhaust gas, and a normal maximum fuel pressure may be increased to approximately 35 MP. When the normal maximum fuel pressure is 35 MPa, a fuel injection valve is required to work for example at a pressure up to 45 MPa. In such a condition, a fluid force may exceed a valve opening force depending on a seat diameter, and a needle valve cannot be kept open and closed, when opening thereof is required.

In order to solve the above problems, a fuel injection valve according to the present invention includes a valve seat portion, a valve body which is seated on or separated from the valve seat portion, an injection hole which is formed on a downstream side from the valve seat portion, and a guide portion which is formed on an upstream side from the valve seat portion seating a valve body seat portion of the valve body to guide a guided portion on a downstream side of the valve body, in which the valve seat portion is formed to have a dimension in a crossing direction crossing an axial direction of 0.4 to 0.8 times a dimension of the guide portion in the crossing direction.

Control valve seat and seat support

A high pressure fluid control device includes a valve body defining an inlet, an outlet, and a throat disposed between the inlet and the outlet. The valve body defines a longitudinal axis. A valve seat is disposed in the throat and includes a sloped surface. A seat support is disposed in the throat and is adjacent to the valve seat. The seat support includes a sloped surface adjacent to the sloped surface of the valve seat. A control element is disposed in the valve body and includes a stem and a seating surface. The control element is movable between an open position, in which the seating surface is spaced away from the valve seat, and a closed position, in which the seating surface engages the valve seat. The sloped surface of the seat support provides a rigid support to the valve seat to resist deformation of the valve seat.

A pressure regulator for use in an elbow connector for use with a sprinkler assembly including a pressure responsive member, movably mounted in the elbow connector and movable from an open position allowing flow of water into the sprinkler assembly and a closed position where the bottom edge of the pressure responsive member blocks the flow of water into the sprinkler assembly. The pressure responsive member is biased in the open position and moves into the closed position when downstream water pressure exceeds a predetermined value.

Installing trim in a valve assembly

A tool configured for use to assemble and install trim into a steam conditioning valve. These configurations can include a device that mounts in place of a bonnet and an actuator that technicians remove from the valve. The device can cantilever the trim assembly, essentially providing a platform on which technicians can slide the trim assembly into the valve body (or out of the valve body) to complete install or repair of the device. As an added benefit, technicians can also use the device to assemble the trim in proximity to the subject valve.

The valve seat assembly includes a valve seat having a substantially cylindrical body defined along an axis. The valve seat has a first seat end and a second seat end with a through bore extending between the first and second seat ends. The cylindrical body has an inner cylinder surface and an exterior cylinder surface with an annular flange formed along the exterior cylinder surface adjacent the first seat end. The through bore expands from a first diameter to a second diameter adjacent the first seat end. The valve seat assembly further includes a leak detection notch formed in the exterior cylinder surface between the annular flange and the second seat end.
