A valve has a housing that delimits an interior, a first connection, a second connection, a passage that fluidically connects the first and second connections, first and second closing elements received in the interior and surrounding an intermediate space connected to a third connection, and an adjustment device that, in a closed position, brings the first closing element into sealing contact with a first valve seat formed in the passage and the second closing element into sealing contact with a second valve seat formed in the passage. The first closing element is sealingly received in the second closing element. For cleaning, the adjustment device forms a gap that connects the intermediate space to the interior, between the first and second closing elements and simultaneously releases the first and second closing elements from the first and second valve seats in an open position. A cleaning method is also described.

UREA DEPOLLUTION CIRCUIT COMPROMISING A DOUBLE-SEAT VALVE SELECTIVELY ENSURING THE DEGRASSING OR THE RECIRCULATION OF THE AQUEOUS UREA SOLUTION

The invention concerns a circuit intended to transfer, by means of a pump, first fluid, such as an aqueous urea solution, from a reservoir to an injector, said circuit also containing a second fluid, such as air, and said circuit comprising, downstream of the pump and of the reservoir, a downstream circuit portion which includes, on the one hand, a main branch which leads to the injector and, on the other hand, bypass branch which returns to the reservoir and which is provided with a double-seat valve designed to selectively and automatically adopt: purge configuration allowing to purge the second fluid through the valve out of the main branch, a pressurized supply configuration allowing to direct the first fluid to the injector under a predetermined working pressure, and a recirculation configuration allowing a recirculation through the bypass branch, and to the reservoir, of the first fluid coming from said reservoir.

STEAM TRAP, ASEPTIC DOUBLE SEATED VALVE, METHOD OF OPERATING THE STEAM TRAP, AND FILLING PLANT

In a steam trap comprising a seat valve that is adapted to be switched over between an open position for a first discharge state with large throughput and a closed position for a second discharge state with small throughput, the closure element and the seat of the seat valve define, at the closed position, a two-part passage, said passage having a jet cross-section, which first decreases in size in the discharge direction and, subsequently, re-increases in size, and being delimited by the seating area, the sealing face and at least one, only local control groove in the sealing face and/or the seating area. In the aseptic double seated valve the steam trap serves to carry out a flushing cycle as well as a sterilization cycle in a filling plant.

Double-seat valve having a diaphragm

A double-seat valve includes a housing having a passage between first and second connections. First and second valve disks are arranged in a housing internal space. A leakage space formed in the passage in the valve closed position is sealed off by the second valve disk. A hollow rod connected to the first valve disk has a leakage channel connecting the leakage space and a housing part. A cleaning gap is formed between the second valve disk and a passage wall. A housing opening is sealed with a diaphragm that separates the housing part from the internal space. A section of the first valve disk is received in an opening contour in the passage in the valve closed position, and delimits a cut-out in the first valve disk, in which the second valve disk is received in the valve open position.

PIPE CLEANING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF CLEANING A PIPING SYSTEM USING THE SAME

A pipe cleaning assembly has a connection fixture having a body defining a cavity. A first aperture, opposing second aperture coaxially aligned with the first aperture, first auxiliary aperture, and opposing second auxiliary aperture coaxially aligned with the first auxiliary aperture are in fluid communication with the cavity. A first connection flange extends from and surrounding the first aperture and a second connection flange extends from and surrounding the second aperture. A rotatable bonnet inserted through the second auxiliary aperture and includes a cylindrical wall having an open first end, an end wall at a second end, and a plurality of openings through the wall. An actuator is mounted to the bonnet with an actuator shaft extending through an opening in the end wall. A valve plug is secured to the actuator shaft and positioned within the bonnet.

Drive for a Valve and Method

A drive that is drivable by a pressure medium is described. The drive is used for a valve that can be used in hygienic applications. The drive includes a drive housing, in which a main piston is movable along a stroke direction by the action of the pressure medium and can be coupled to a rod, and a stop for limiting a movement of the main piston. To improve the drive, it is proposed that an additional piston is provided, which is movable by the action of the pressure medium. The stop can be carried along by the additional piston. The disclosure also describes a double-seat valve comprising such a drive and to a method for operating such a drive.

A double seat valve has a housing with first and second interiors. A passage connects the interiors, and first and second valve seats are arranged therein. The valve includes a first closing body, which has a cavity and is fastened to a rod, and a second closing body, through which the rod and can be brought into sealing contact with the first closing body. By contact with the first closing body, the cavity is sealed with respect to the second interior and with a closing body portion arranged on the second closing body and cooperates with a seal in the housing. To improve hygiene conditions, a flushing space and a hygiene structure cooperating with the space are provided. The second closing body can be brought into a position in which the closing body portion is withdrawn from the second interior in the flushing space and the seal is exposed.
