A valve assembly that includes a valve housing and a valve body that is configured to be mated with the valve housing. The valve housing includes at least one window that extends through a wall of the valve housing, and the valve body includes at least one prong that is configured to mate with the window when the valve body is mated with the valve housing.
Fluid damped check valve, and associated systems and methods
Fluid damped check valves are described herein. A representative check valve includes a piston assembly movably positioned within a housing. The housing can include a flow chamber, a damping chamber containing a damping fluid, and a leak chamber fluidly coupled between the flow chamber and the damping chamber. The piston assembly can include a poppet positioned in the flow chamber, and a flange positioned in the damping chamber. In operation, the piston assembly is movable between (i) a closed position in which the poppet sealingly engages the housing to at least inhibit fluid flow through the flow chamber and (ii) an open position in which the poppet disengages from the housing and permits fluid flow through the flow chamber. When the piston assembly moves between the open and closed positions, the flange moves through the damping fluid in the damping chamber to slow the movement of the poppet.
Pressure reducing valve
A pressure reducing valve includes: a body, a valve seat, and a valve element opening and closing the valve seat according to a difference between a pressure on the inlet side and a pressure on the outlet side. A pressure chamber, which is a space part between the valve element and the valve seat, is provided on the inlet side of the valve element. The valve element includes a plurality of horizontal holes each opening to the pressure chamber, and a vertical hole bringing the horizontal holes and the outlet side of the valve element into communication with each other. The horizontal holes and the vertical hole are provided in such a manner that a value of a ratio of a flow channel area of the vertical hole to a total area that is a total of flow channel areas of the horizontal holes exceeds 1.16.
Valve device
A valve device includes a body, a joint, a check valve, a valve seat fixation member having an outer peripheral surface on which an external thread is provided, and a sealing member. The body has an attachment hole that attaches the joint and the valve seat fixation member from an outside of the body in a sequence of the joint and the valve seat fixation member, and that has an inner peripheral surface in which an internal thread screwed to the external thread of the valve seat fixation member is provided. The sealing member is provided between the joint and the valve seat fixation member. An outer peripheral edge of the sealing member is located radially inward of a screwed region of the internal thread and the external thread.
Vent valve flow fuse
A vent valve flow fuse includes a valve cap with a valve cap cavity defined by one or more valve cap interior surfaces. The vent valve flow fuse includes a valve body with a valve body cavity defined by one or more valve body interior surfaces. The vent valve flow fuse includes a poppet configured to at least partially fit within the valve cap cavity and the valve body cavity. The vent valve flow fuse includes a spring configured to fit within the valve body cavity and to generate a resistive force against the poppet. The poppet is in a first position when fluid having a first amount of fluid pressure enters the valve cap cavity from a vent valve and engages the poppet. The poppet is in a second position when fluid having a second amount of fluid pressure enters the valve cap cavity and engages the poppet.
Discharge valve arrangement for a refrigerant compressor
The discharge valve arrangement (17) includes a valve plate (18) including a discharge passage (22) and a valve seat (23) surrounding the discharge passage (22); a valve housing (24) being secured to the valve plate (18) and including a bottom portion (25) facing away from the valve plate (18), a sidewall (26) extending from the bottom portion (25) and towards the valve plate (18), and a discharge opening (28) formed in the sidewall (26); a valve member (31) displaceable between a closed position in which the valve member (31) closes the discharge passage (22) and an open position in which the valve member (31) opens the discharge passage (22). The valve housing (24) includes a gas damping chamber defined by the bottom portion (25) and the sidewall (26) and being configured to accommodate the valve member (31) in the open position; and an exhaust opening (37) formed in the bottom portion (25) and emerging in the gas damping chamber.
COMPACT PISTON VALVE
A piston valve includes a body, a valve seat, an obturator in the form of a piston and a return spring. The body includes an envelope provided with at least one outlet orifice for the pressurised fluid, and an interior element that is attached in the envelope. The interior of the body carries the valve seat and provides the translational guidance of the obturator in the body. Furthermore, the interior element includes at least one window configured to guide the fluid from the valve seat towards the outlet orifice.
PUMP CONFIGURATION INCLUDING A PURGE VALVE
A pump and purge valve configuration may include an inlet, an outlet arranged downstream of the inlet and defining a portion of an operational fluid pathway, and a pump mechanism arranged along the operational fluid pathway between the inlet and the outlet. The pump and purge valve configuration may also include a purging fluid pathway having a purge inlet in fluid communication with the operational fluid pathway at a point downstream of the pump. The purging fluid pathway may extend from the purge inlet to a relief point. The pump and purge valve configuration may also include a purge valve arranged along the purging fluid pathway. The purge valve may be configured to remain open unless a triggering fluid pressure develops in the pump mechanism.
Bi-stable quick-release valve
