Servo-Controlled Metering Valve and Fluid Injection System

The present invention is directed to a metering valve for controlling the amount of a fluid passed through the valve and a servo-valve for controlling the metering valve, wherein the servo-valve is decoupled from the metering valve to thermally distance or thermally isolate the servo-valve from any heat from the fluid passing through the metering valve. The metering valve and servo-valve may be used to attemperate a steam stream in a power plant attemperation system, such as a system for attemperating a superheated steam gas stream from a power plant being used for a heat-recovery steam generator. An integrated metering valve and discharge valve for discharging fluid during periods of non-use is also provide. Changeable throttle plates are also provided that control the flow of the fluid through the control chamber of the metering valve and the discharge valve.

Charging valve, air conditioning system and electric vehicle

The disclosure discloses a charging valve, an air conditioning system and an electric vehicle. The charging valve includes: an outer valve body including a first inner cavity, the outer valve body is provided with a connection port in communication with the first inner cavity; an inner valve body movably installed in the first inner cavity, the inner valve body has a sealing position for closing the connection port and a charging position for opening the connection port, and the inner valve body is provided with a second inner cavity; and a valve core assembly, installed in the second inner cavity. The inner valve body of such a charging valve realizes the isolation of the valve core assembly from the connection port. A problem that air enters the air conditioning system in a vacuum state or that leakage appears in the valve core assembly is avoided.

FLUID CONTAINER COMPRISING A SHUT-OFF DEVICE

A fluid container for a hydraulic unit comprises a container housing which has at least one connection part, which can be shut off by means of a shut-off device arranged in the fluid container. The container housing has at least one internal chamber and a channel for connecting the internal chamber to the hydraulic unit. The connection part and the shut-off device are combined in a separate module, which is connected to the container housing.

Fuel nozzle with reduced flow tolerance
11585452 · 2023-02-21 · ·

A fuel nozzle metering valve that includes a spool having an inlet port and an outlet flow port, and a retainer assembled to one end of the spool. A valve liner houses a portion of the spool. The spool is configured to move back and forth within the valve liner. The metering valve is biased in a closed position in which the outlet flow port is disposed entirely within the valve liner. The valve is opened when the spool slides within the valve liner such that some portion of the outlet flow port extends beyond an end of the valve liner. The retainer has a stepped portion configured to abut an end of the retainer at a fuel flow pressure below the expected maximum fuel flow pressure to be used in the fuel nozzle metering valve.

Damped check valve having multi-pressure operation
11603940 · 2023-03-14 · ·

A damped check valve having multi-pressure operation is provided. The check valve includes a liner with a poppet movable within the liner. The liner defines a flow passage aligned along a longitudinal axis defined by the liner. A biasing element is operably coupled between the poppet and the liner to bias a first flow face of the poppet against an annular seat. The first flow face is configured such that a first fluid pressure is required to move the poppet from the closed position to an open position wherein the poppet is unseated from the annular seat and a second fluid pressure is required to hold the poppet in the open position, the second pressure being less than the first pressure. There is a sufficient diametrical clearance between the poppet and the liner which allows for flow control at pressures which are less than the initial opening pressure.

Check valve

A check valve may be used to enable desired flow rates of fluid in a particular direction. In some examples, the check valve may have a hollow cylindrical body and a threaded portion on an exterior wall of the hollow cylindrical body such that the check valve may be coupled with an assembly, such as an adapter for a vehicle engine. The check valve may include a plunger having a dome shaped portion (e.g., cone shaped, semi-hemispherical shaped, rounded cone shaped, etc.) that extends out of the hollow cylindrical body into free space when the check valve is in an open position and forms a seal with the hollow cylindrical body when the check valve is in a closed position.

FLUID MANAGMENT ASSEMBLY AND THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A fluid management assembly and a thermal management system. The fluid management assembly has a first chamber and a first valve core located in the first chamber. The fluid management assembly has a throttle chamber. The first valve core has a conduction channel. The first chamber can communicate with other portions by means of a throttle channel or the conduction channel.
