Reed valve and reed valve airbox
A reed valve includes a first valve body portion that includes one or more inlet apertures fluidly coupled to a tapered second valve body portion that includes one or more outlet apertures. The reed valve includes at least one sealing surface disposed proximate the one or more outlet apertures and at least one petal continuously, reversibly, displaceable between an OPEN position permitting forward flow through the reed valve when a fluid pressure proximate the at least one inlet aperture exceeds a fluid pressure proximate the at least one outlet aperture and a CLOSED position preventing reverse flow through the reed valve when a fluid pressure proximate the at least one outlet aperture exceeds a fluid pressure proximate the at least one inlet aperture. The reed valve may be installed in an airbox assembly used with a turbocharged engine to reduce the occurrence of turbo-lag on acceleration.
BACKFLOW PREVENTION APPARATUS AND METHOD
A backflow prevention system and apparatus is disclosed. The system includes a pipe designed to couple to a washer. The backflow prevention apparatus includes a housing and two one-way valves. The housing secured to the pipe. A first one-way valve is coupled to the housing, with the first one-way valve defining a first cross-slit. A second one-way valve is coupled to the housing and spaced from the first one-way valve, with the second one-way valve defining a second cross-slit. The first one-way valve and the second one-way valve are designed to allow fluid flow, through the housing, in a first direction and prevent flow of suds, foam, gas, or combinations thereof in a second direction opposite the first direction.
COMPRESSOR VALVE
A compressor valve suitable for use in a compressor is provided. The compressor valve comprises a first body member and a second body member. The first body member and the second body member each define a set of suction flow passages in fluid communication with each other between the suction passage and a cylinder of the compressor, and a set of compression flow passages in fluid communication with each other between the cylinder and the discharge passage. The valve includes a suction seal and a compression seal, both located at least partially between the first body member and the second body member. The suction seal is movable between a closed position and an open position. The suction seal is biased to a closed position against the flow of fluid from the suction passage to the cylinder. The suction seal and the compression seal are biased by helical coil springs.
MUFFLER FOR COMPRESSOR
A muffler that is mountable on a compressor, the muffler including a body portion including an inlet to which a fluid is introducible; and a base portion connected to the body portion, the base portion including an exit flow path, an outlet at an end of the exit flow path, and a barrier extending from the outlet through the exit flow path so as to divide an exit hole of the outlet and the exit flow path, wherein the fluid introduced to the body portion flows through the base portion via the exit flow path and is discharged through the exit hole of the outlet.
Sealing valve
The present invention relates to sealing valves that can be mounted within a container wall, enabling controlled fluid flow along both inner and outer surfaces of the sealing valve in the same distal direction.
Scroll compressor with a pressure relief low-speed rotation structure
A scroll compressor is provided. The scroll compressor has a housing, a partition plate, a rack, a movable scroll plate, a stationary scroll plate and a pressure relief low-speed rotation structure. The partition plate is in the interior of the housing and divides the interior of the housing into a suction space and a discharge space, and has a first through to communicate the suction space with the discharge space. The rack is in the suction space and spaced apart from the partition plate. The movable scroll plate is movably provided on the rack. The stationary scroll plate is provided on the rack and cooperates with the movable scroll plate, and has a second through hole communicating with the discharge space. The pressure relief low-speed rotation structure is provided on the stationary scroll plate and configured to communicate the second through hole with the discharge space.
Reed valve
A reed valve assembly includes a retainer, one or more reed cages, and a plurality of reed petals. The retainer includes a flange, first and second openings, and a center retainer separating the first and second openings. The reed cages are configured to be advanced from the bottom of the retainer and partially through the first and second openings of the retainer and have at least two inner openings generally facing each other and at least two outer openings generally facing away from each other. The inner and outer openings are configured to be fluidly coupled to the first and second openings of the retainer. The reed petals are configured to extend over the inner openings and the outer openings. The center retainer and reed cages include one or more reed cage grooves and reed cage flanges configured secure the reed cages to the retainer.
Drain Valve With Tapered Skirt Valve
Various embodiments of a device for regulating a fluid flow are described that can include first and second downwardly-sloping valves that are biased in a closed position to prevent odors from escaping the device. The device can also include first and second downwardly-sloping valve seats, and configured such that an end portion of the first valve can be seated beneath the first valve seat and an end portion of the second valve can be seated beneath the second valve seat when the first and second valves are in a closed position, respectively.
Vacuum aperture valve array
A sheet 200 for an array of vacuum apertures 152 in a substrate support unit 150 of a printer is provided. The sheet 200 comprises a plurality of valves 202 formed into the sheet 200. The sheet 200 is made from a resilient material. Each valve 202 comprises a valve head 204 for sealing a vacuum aperture 152 in the substrate support unit 150, and a valve lever arm 206 for permitting movement of the valve head 204 towards and away from the vacuum aperture 152 in order to open and close the valve 202.
