An elastomeric check valve that may be installed within pre-existing process lines or plumbing that includes an internal bore. In various aspects the disclosed check valve has a stem or stem assembly configured to engage the bore to retain the check valve in place and an elastomeric sealing disk or member. At least a radially outer portion of the elastomeric sealing disk or member is biased or biasable in a selected direction away from a plane that is coincident with a central portion of the elastomeric sealing disk. Fluid may flow through a channel in the stem through a stem assembly and around the elastomeric sealing disk in the selected direction, but is substantially prevented from flowing around the elastomeric sealing disk in a direction opposite to the selected direction, when the check valve is installed within the bore.

An inflation fluid supply and discharge assembly includes a combined two-way inlet and outlet valve having a valve body with two separate flow paths separated for flows in opposite directions. Each flow path is associated with a valve seat with a shutter, which cooperates with the valve seat in the manner of a non-return valve. One of the flow paths, intended for the passage of an incoming flow to a collection body, can be connected to a fluid supply source, the other flow path enabling the passage of a discharge flow from the collection body. A shutter is stably stressed against the corresponding valve seat, in a position of interdiction of the discharge or outlet flow, and is moved to a position at a distance from the valve seat by control members or automatically by a predetermined overpressure condition of the fluid in the collection body.

The ventilation component (1a) includes a gas-permeable membrane (10), a ventilation valve (20), and a structural member (30). The structural member (30) has an inner space (40), and at least one of a first ventilation path (51) and a second ventilation paths (52). The inner space (40) is a space accommodating the gas-permeable membrane (10) and/or the ventilation valve (20). The first ventilation path (51) allows the inner space (40) to communicate with an external space of the ventilation component (1a). The first ventilation path (51) has a first inner opening (51i) and a first outer opening (51e), and the first inner opening (51i) faces the first outer opening (51e). The first inner opening (51i) and the first outer opening (51e) are present along a plane parallel to an outer surface (2s) of the housing. The second ventilation path (52) has a second inner opening (52i) and a second outer opening (52e), and the second inner opening (52i) is present without facing the second outer opening (52e).

Elastomeric exhaust reed valve for combustion driven fastener hand tool

An exhaust valve comprising an elastomeric flap portion (e.g. of silicone) covering one or more exhaust ports in a normally closed position for a combustion driven fastener hand tool is disclosed. The elastomeric flap portion is much shorter than a comparable steel reed valve, allowing it to be disposed in small spaces. A single flat piece of elastomeric material can be configured held fixed to a housing surface along a line between one or more pairs of ports such that a flap portion of the material extends to each side of the line and covers one of the pairs of ports. The flat piece can be conveniently held in position against the housing surface by a rib or standoff on the interior surface of an exterior housing.

The discharge valve includes reinforced fiber, and the reinforced fiber is arranged parallel to the front end surface of the cylinder. Accordingly, while a rigidity of the discharge valve is improved, a weight of the valve is reduced to enhance responsiveness of the valve, suppress abrasion of the cylinder, and reduce striking sound.
