Rapid dome loading pilot valve bypass

A flow arrangement for a pressure relief valve assembly can include a bypass flow path extending from a pressure source to a dome of a relief valve. The bypass flow path can include a valve that is configured to open and close the bypass flow path based on pressure at the pressure source or the dome, or a pressure difference between the pressure source and the dome.

GREASE PRESSURE RELIEF SYSTEM

A check valve bleed assembly eliminates the requirement for a person to enter the red zone when bleeding the grease out of a gate or other valve. A gas or other fluid is provided to the check valve bleed assembly. The gas or other fluid acts upon the surface driving a pin into the associated check valve with sufficient force to overcome the resistance of the object sitting on a seat and moves the object off of the seat. The force is maintained as long as is necessary. Usually, the check valve is held open until the gate transitions into the gate's associated gate recess thereby displacing the grease within the gate recess through the check valve, into the check valve bleed assembly, and finally to a waste collection tube. In some embodiments a gate valve greasing access port is included in the check valve bleed assembly such that grease may be injected into the check valve bleed assembly.

[Solution] A pilot check valve includes a first body that has input and output ports, a main path 13 that is in communication these ports, and a check valve element that allows a flow of a pressure fluid from the input port toward the output port. The valve element blocks or allows a flow toward the input port side by supply or discharge of a pilot fluid and has a residual pressure exhaust path connected between the main path and an exhaust hole, a seal member that is provided in the exhaust path, and a push rod that moves the check valve element to a position where a flow of a pressure fluid toward the input port side in the main path is allowed and moves the seal member to a position where a flow toward the exhaust hole is allowed.

PILOT CHECK VALVE

A pilot check valve includes: a fluid channel body; a moveable body that moves in an axial direction under effects of pilot pressure; a packing including a lip portion that is displaceable, integrally with the moveable body, between a valve close position and a valve open position; and a detector to detect position of the moveable body. The packing, in the valve close position, allows flow of an operating liquid from a first port side of the fluid channel body to a second port side and prevents the flow of the operating liquid from the second port side to the first port side, and in the valve open position, connects the first port and the second port.

Valve Assembly with Preloaded Control Oil Return
20230175601 · 2023-06-08 ·

A valve assembly includes a linearly moving main slider, a pilot valve, a control oil inlet, and a control oil return. The pilot valve is designed as a 4/3 proportional directional valve, via which a first end face and an opposite second end face of the main slider can be fluidly connected selectively to the control oil inlet or the control oil return so that the main slider (20) is hydraulically movable by adjusting the pilot valve. The pilot valve is electrically adjustable depending on a target current. A position sensor is provided, with which an actual position of the main slider can be measured. A positioner is provided, with which the actual position can be regulated by adjusting the target current to a predefinable target position. The pilot valve is connected to the control oil return via a check valve. The check valve only permits fluid flow from the pilot valve toward the control oil return. The check valve is preloaded to a closed position by means of a first spring so that it opens at a predetermined opening pressure. The leakages at the pilot valve from the control oil inlet toward the check valve are designed to be so large that if the pressure at the control oil inlet exceeds the opening pressure by at least 2 bar, the opening pressure of the check valve is present immediately upstream of the check valve.

Valve displacement and regulating mechanism

A valve is equipped with a displacement amount regulating mechanism (for example, flow rate control device). An abutment member of the displacement amount regulating mechanism protrudes inside a pilot chamber and faces an upper end surface of a valve main body portion of a valve element. When the valve element (the valve main body portion) is separated from a valve seat to bring the valve into an open state, the abutment member is brought into abutment on the upper end surface of the valve main body portion. This abutment regulates the displacement of the valve element.

An active drain liquid trap configured for use with a fuel tank system and constructed in accordance to one example of the present disclosure includes a trap body, a float and a pilot. The trap body defines a first inlet, a second inlet and an outlet. The first inlet is fluidly connected to a fuel pump. The second inlet is fluidly connected to a vapor line. The float is rotatably mounted about a float pivot. The pilot moves between an open and closed position. Rotation of the float causes the pilot to be urged into an open position and fluid to be drained from the trap body through the outlet.
