VENT ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure is generally related to vent assemblies. More particularly, the present disclosure is related to vent assemblies that are configured for pressure equalization of an enclosure.
Pressure balancing device
Provided is a pressure balancing device, having a mounting seat and a cover, wherein an accommodating cavity is formed between the mounting seat and the cover. The pressure balancing device may also have a partition member, wherein the partition member divides the accommodating cavity into first and second accommodating cavities. The partition member may also include a support portion and an elastic portion, the support portion being disposed on the elastic portion and having a vent hole capable of fluidly communicating the accommodating cavities. The elastic portion is elastically deformable so as to move the support portion relative to the cover. The pressure balancing device may also have a breathable film that is disposed on the support portion and covers the vent hole, and that is movable as the support portion moves.
KEG CLOSURE WITH INTEGRATED VENTING SYSTEM HAVING A RUPTURE DISK
A closure (12) for a beverage keg (10) for the pressurised delivery of a beverage, the closure comprising: a valve housing (38) comprising a valve housing wall (32) and an inlet and configured to house a valve (26) for controlling a flow of pressurised gas through the inlet into a headspace of the beverage keg (10); a venting aperture (27) in the valve housing wall, separate from the inlet and arranged to vent the headspace of the beverage keg; and a barrier (29), integrally formed with the valve housing wall and arranged to seal the venting aperture (27) such that the closure (12) is able to retain the pressurised gas within the keg when the closure is arranged in an unvented configuration, the barrier (29) being configured to rupture due to internal pressure from within the keg in order to switch the closure into a vented configuration in which the venting aperture (27) is no longer sealed by the barrier, wherein the barrier is formed as a geometrical shape having a barrier diameter or a barrier width in the range of 7 mm to 12 mm and wherein, in at least a part of the barrier, a barrier thickness is lower than a thickness of the valve housing in the immediate surroundings of the venting aperture and in the range of 0.02 mm to 0.5 mm.
ROTATING SEAT ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure provides a valve seat assembly for a fluid end of a hydraulic fracturing pump. The valve seat assembly includes a valve seat having a substantially cylindrical body defined along an axis. The valve seat has a first seat end and a second seat end with a through bore extending between the first and second seat ends. The cylindrical body has an inner cylinder surface and an exterior cylinder surface with an annular flange formed along the exterior cylinder surface adjacent the first seat end. The through bore expands from a first diameter to a second diameter adjacent the first seat end. The valve seat assembly further includes a leak detection notch formed in the exterior cylinder surface between the annular flange and the second seat end.
ACTIVATION ASSEMBLY WITH SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY (SMA) FOR A SEALED CONTAINER
An activation assembly for a sealed container includes a striker, a detent, and a shape memory alloy (SMA) wire connected to the detent. The SMA wire may move the detent from a first position to a second position relative to the striker based on activation of the SMA wire where, in the first position, the detent is engaged with the striker, and, in the second position, the detent is disengaged from the striker and the striker is movable from a stowed position to a deployed position.
PRESSURE RELEASE HOUSING
One embodiment is a device comprising a first and second section of a housing connected by a connection region that uses a plurality of connection elements, an inlet connected to the first or the second section, an outlet connected to the first or the second section where a gas can exit the housing, and a valve connected to the outlet, the valve capable of withstanding a first pressure in the housing.
Frangible Valve
A frangible valve is disclosed. The frangible valve can include an outer portion operable to form a pressure boundary for a pressure vessel. The frangible valve can also include an inner portion integrally formed with the outer portion and having a central region and a separation region about a perimeter of the central region proximate the outer portion. The separation region can have a thickness less than a thickness of the central region and can be configured to break at a predetermined fluid pressure inside the pressure vessel to vent pressure from the pressure vessel.
PRESSURE RELIEF APPARATUS, BATTERY CELL, BATTERY AND ELECTRIC APPARATUS
A pressure relief device, a battery cell, a battery and an electrical device are provided. The pressure relief device has a pressure relief body and a pressure relief structure. The pressure relief structure has a first score groove, a second score groove and a third score groove provided on the pressure relief body. The first score groove and the third score groove are arranged at an interval, the first score groove and the third score groove both intersect with the second score groove, and the first score groove, the second score groove and the third score groove jointly define a pressure relief portion. The pressure relief portion is configured to split with the first score groove, the second score groove and the third score groove as boundaries when the pressure or temperature inside the battery cell reaches a threshold.
Hydrocarbon pipeline pressure safety relief bypass system
A method, system, and apparatus are provided for a safety relief bypass system for an oil pumping pipeline that provides pressure relief to the pipeline in order to prevent and reduce pipeline rupture. More specifically, the bypass system can include one or more rupture discs having a specific burst pressure that allows fluids under pressure to bypass through alternative pipeline thereby preventing damage to other piping components.
