FLUID VALVES WITH AN ANTI-STAGNATION TRIM GUIDE
Fluid valves with an anti-stagnation trim guide are disclosed herein. An example valve includes a valve body including a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a fluid passageway extending between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet, a plug disposed in the fluid passageway, and a trim guide positioned between the plug and the valve body, the trim guide including at least one balance passageway, the balance passageway to guide trapped process fluid to enter or exit an area between the plug and a bonnet of the valve during movement of the plug.
High-pressure priming valve
A new and innovative high-pressure priming valve is provided for use in high-pressure fluid systems that require a high level of fluid purity. The priming valve includes at least three ports, some of which are angled. The priming valve also includes a needle that variably blocks and unblocks a pathway to one of the ports between normal operation and a priming operation, respectively. The priming valve includes a sealing insert positioned below a stack of washers that maintain the needle's alignment in response to high fluid pressures exerted on the needle. The sealing insert helps prevent fluid from contacting the stack of washers, which helps prevent biological growth within the valve. The angled ports help facilitate priming valve drainage to further help prevent biological growth. By helping prevent biological growth, the sealing insert helps prevent fluid contamination and enables the priming valve to be utilized for high-purity fluid applications.
Cryogenic cylinder control system, globe valve, and solenoid valve
A valve assembly (6000) for use with a valve body (7000) having a valve seat (7112) is disclosed, the valve assembly (6000) comprising: a cartridge (6200) threadably engaged with and extending away from the valve body (7000); a poppet (6500) slidably engaged with the cartridge (6200); a plate (6600) engaged with the poppet (6500); a plunger (6400) slidably engaged with the cartridge (6200) and slidably extending through the plate (6600); and a retainer (6450) captured between the plate (6600) and a surface of the poppet (6500), wherein the retainer (6450) is threadably engaged with the plunger (6400). The valve assembly (6000) can regulate fluid flow.
Heat exchanger valve
A heat exchanger valve includes a housing (2) having an inlet, an outlet a valve seat (5) on a valve seat member (24) between inlet and outlet, a valve element cooperating with the valve seat (5) and having a valve element axis, and presetting mechanism having a bushing (9) which is rotatable around the valve element axis and has an opening arrangement cooperating with a counter passage in the housing (2), wherein in the region of the opening arrangement the bushing (9) has a conical form cooperating with a conical counter face (13) and a distance is provided between the bushing (9) and the valve seat member (24). Such a heat exchanger valve should allow a precise pre-setting over a large range. To this end the bushing (9) has at least two notches (14) in an edge (10) facing the valve element member (24), each of the notches (14) forming an opening (25).
VALVE WITH EXCHANGEABLE PACKING SEAL CARTRIDGE
A valve includes at least one valve stem seal, such as a packing seal, that is included in a removable seal cartridge. The valve stem is connected to the actuator via a linkage, which can be removed to provide a linkage gap between the actuator and the valve stem. The seal cartridge can then be slid along the valve stem into the linkage gap and laterally removed from the valve, whereupon the seals within the seal cartridge can be refurbished. The valve can be a rotary or linear valve. In embodiments, the linkage gap can be increased by linear displacement of the actuator away from the valve stem. The seal cartridge can be re-installed in the valve after refurbishment, or a substantially identical replacement seal cartridge can be provided, and can be installed in the valve in replacement of the removed seal cartridge, thereby minimizing downtime of the valve.
Fluidic device with cover for detection target surface
A fluidic device includes a casing in which a fluid passage is disposed and which has an outer surface including a detection target surface (bottom surface) that is to contact a detection part of a sensor so that at least one of a temperature and a vibration of the fluidic device is detected; and a plug detachably disposed on the casing and configured to cover the detection target surface (bottom surface).
CRYOGENIC CYLINDER CONTROL SYSTEM, GLOBE VALVE, AND SOLENOID VALVE
A cryogenic cylinder control system for regulating fluid within a cryogenic cylinder is disclosed. The system includes a pressure relief and vent module fluidly connectable to a head space above liquid within the cryogenic cylinder, a manual valve module fluidly connectable to the liquid within the cryogenic cylinder and to an external device, a solenoid valve module fluidly connectable to the manual valve module and to the head space within the cryogenic cylinder, a build-up coil fluidly connectable to the manual valve module and to the solenoid valve module, and a controller operatively connected to the solenoid valve module to control fluid flow through the solenoid valve module.

A pressure-regulating valve for a fluid medium that is at system pressure, e.g., for system pressures >1000 bar, has a valve housing with an inlet channel and at least one outlet channel. A valve seat arranged in the valve housing has a conical recess holding an axially mobile valve body with a lateral outer surface at least part of which is conical. The interaction of the valve body and valve seat regulate throughflow of medium from the inlet channel to the outlet channel. The valve seat, adjacent to the lateral outer surface of the valve body, includes a first pressure chamber from which there extends, in the direction of movement of the valve body, a throttle gap along the lateral outer surface of the valve body. The conical lateral outer surface of the valve body extends, in the direction of movement of the valve body, on either side of the pressure chamber through the conical recess of the valve seat.
