According to some embodiments, a pressure relief valve system comprises a valve body coupled to a pressure chamber. The valve body defines a vapor flow path between the pressure chamber and the atmosphere. A valve orifice in the valve body is configured to allow vapor to flow between the pressure chamber and the valve body. A vapor conduit comprises a vapor conduit first end coupled to the valve orifice and a second end opening into the pressure chamber. The vapor conduit forms a passageway between the vapor conduit first and second end. The vapor conduit also comprises a vapor conduit orifice near its first end. The vapor conduit orifice is configured to allow the vapor to flow from the pressure chamber into the vapor conduit. A gravity-operated valve positioned near the vapor conduit first end is configured to control the flow of vapor through the vapor conduit orifice.

The present invention relates broadly and separately to a flow control valve and a float control valve assembly for use in the refilling of storage vessels, particularly fuel tanks. The invention also relates generally to a vessel overfill protection system. The flow control valve comprises a valve body defining a fluid passageway disposed between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet and a piston assembly located at least in part within the fluid passageway. The piston assembly includes a piston support to which a piston is slidably mounted for opening and closure of the fluid outlet. The piston support includes at least one fluid sampling passage arranged to provide pressurised fluid from the fluid inlet to an upstream surface of the piston which is urged for opening of the fluid outlet to permit flow of fluid through the fluid passageway. The float control valve assembly includes a float assembly body adapted to mount within a vessel to be filled with fluid via the flow control valve. The float control valve includes a pilot valve and a pilot control passage in fluid communication with the flow control valve. The pilot valve is operatively coupled to a float member for closure of the pilot control passage on flooding of the float housing to promote closure of the flow control valve.

A ventilation valve (100) for ventilation of a tank (not shown) containing a liquid where the liquid surface fluctuates over time at the same time as the ventilation valve (100) obstructs external liquid to enter into the tank through the ventilation valve, is described. The ventilation valve (100) comprises a structural main housing (1, 2) containing a valve unit (3, 4, 5) and respective ventilation channels (6, 7, 9, 10, 13, 14, 16) providing open communication between the tank and the atmosphere, and the valve unit includes a movable float body (4) obstructing liquid ingress into the tank through said ventilation valve (100). The valve unit is in the form of a replaceable valve module which includes the float body (4) which is received in a valve housing (3). The structural main housing (1, 2) includes a socket part (2) and one from the socket part (2) releasable cover part (1) in order to provide access to the replaceable valve module (3, 4, 5).

Connector head and valve block

The invention relates to a connector head (12) comprising an interior space (40), a tank connector (13) which is in fluid communication with the interior space (40) and which can be fluidly connected to a valve apparatus (10) mounted on the tank (9) for filling or emptying the tank (9), a product port (14) in fluid communication with the interior space (40) and a discharge port (33) in fluid communication with the interior space (40). To allow a tank to be filled and emptied under improved hygienic conditions, it is proposed that the connector head (12) comprises a first valve (29), with which first valve (29) the product port (14) can be shut off from the interior space (40), a second valve (34), with which second valve (34) the discharge port (33) can be shut off from the interior space (40), and a cleaning device (38) adapted and arranged to clean the interior space (40) and the tank connector (13). The invention also relates to a valve block.
