A fluid control valve includes a valve main body and a vibration sensor. The valve main body has an actuator section and a valve section. The sensor detects vibration generated in the valve main body. The vibration is generated by a water hammer phenomenon. The water hammer phenomenon generates impact when the valve element comes into contact with the valve seat and no fluid leaks between a valve element and a valve seat. The fluid control valve further includes a controller to execute an abnormality determining program and determines the valve main body to be normal when the sensor detects the vibration with an amplitude exceeding the predetermined threshold, while determines the valve main body to be abnormal when the sensor does not detect the vibration with an amplitude exceeding the predetermined threshold.

Solenoid valve system having a solenoid valve and further having a controller, wherein the solenoid valve includes a valve housing through which a fluid channel passes, in which fluid channel a valve member for temporarily sealing a valve seat formed in the fluid channel is movably accommodated, and including a solenoid drive which has a magnetic circuit with a solenoid coil and a linear-movable armature which is coupled to the valve member, the controller provides a coil current to the solenoid coil and is connected to a sensor which provides a sensor signal which is dependent on a movement of the armature, the controller analyzes the sensor signal to determine a movement of the armature, wherein the controller provides a closed loop control for the coil current in the presence of the armature movement.

AIR VENTILATION VALVE

A solenoid based air ventilation valve (24) comprises of a housing (1), a solenoid coil (2), a flexible diaphragm (6), a plunger (8), a filter inlet (28) and a filter outlet assembly (100). The flexible diaphragm (6) is over molded with the plunger (8) to seal the flexible diaphragm (6) against the high pressure during closed position and has an incorporated O-ring (102) with flexible diaphragm (6) to stop the leakage from the valve (24). The filter outer assembly (100) is fixed to the inlet (25) and outlet port (26) to prevent suspended contamination particles in the valve (24). The valve (24) has a press fitted metal insert/flow controller (55) to achieve a low flow rate. Further, the air ventilation valve (24) allows a low leakage limit, low flow rate to serve high opening and working pressure to work in both over pressure and under pressure (vacuum) conditions.

Fluid distribution valve (11), particularly for a vehicle screen wash system, characterized in that it comprises a body (41) defining a duct (43) for the passage of fluid and comprising at least one fluid inlet (45) and at least one fluid outlet (47, 49), a membrane (53) housed in the duct and configured to be deformed under the action of a magnetic field between a first position of at least partial closure of the duct and a second position of at least partial opening of the duct, and means (51) for generating a magnetic field within the duct in order to cause the membrane to deform.

Solenoid pinch valve apparatus and method for medical fluid applications having reduced noise production

A low noise solenoid valve system includes a solenoid valve; and a controller configured to perform a power actuation sequence in which power to the solenoid valve undergoes a plurality of cycles that switch from an actuation level power to a hold level power, wherein the actuation level power is increased at each subsequent cycle, and wherein the actuation power level of one of the plurality of cycles is sufficient to fully actuate the solenoid valve.

METHOD OF DIAGNOSING A VALVE, DIAGNOSIS MODULE, AND VALVE

A method of diagnosing a valve is described, which has an electrodynamic actuator, which includes a magnet arrangement for generating a magnetic field and a control element which is movable relative to the magnet arrangement and is coupled to a movably arranged coil. At least one electrical variable of the electrodynamic actuator is measured over a measurement period to detect a time course of the electrical variable. The time course of the electrical variable is evaluated over an evaluation period to determine at least one induction-dependent valve variable which is assigned to the motion profile of the electrodynamic actuator. A diagnosis module and a valve are furthermore described.

A pinch valve may use a spring force to close a collapsible tube at a pinch point, and may open with a cam mechanism, which may be controlled using an electric motor. The open and closed positions of the pinch valve may be stable without the use of continuing electrical energy, and electrical energy may be consumed during a change between positions. One arrangement may use multiple tubes in a circular arrangement with a cam that may operate one or more of the valves at a time. The cam mechanism may be driven by an electric motor.
