The present disclosure relates to a fuel tank isolation valve of a vehicle, wherein the first armature and the second armature are connected in such a manner that there is no clearance therebetween, and a spring compression amount securing groove is formed on the upper surface of the guide. In a preferred finished valve assembly state, the position of the first armature in a valve-off state can be constant, and the movement of the first armature does not significantly occur, thereby noise, vibration, and wear are inhibited or prevented.

Two-stage changeover valve

A two-stage changeover valve is provided in a vaporized fuel passage connected between a fuel tank and a canister. A valve member is movably accommodated in a fluid passage formed in a valve housing. A valve seat is formed at an inner peripheral wall of the valve housing, so that the valve member is operatively seated on the valve seat. A restricted communication hole is formed in the valve member, so that an upstream side and a downstream side of the valve member are communicated with each other, even when the valve member is seated on the valve seat. The restricted communication hole is formed in a Laval-nozzle shape, so that vaporized fuel passing through the restricted communication hole is accelerated. As a result, a process for depressurizing inner pressure of the vaporized fuel in the fuel tank can be carried out in a shorter time.

ELECTRICAL DETERMINING OF CHARACTERISTIC VALUES OF MAGNETIC SWITCH VALVES
20170350534 · 2017-12-07 · ·

The invention relates to a method for determining a characteristic value of a magnetic switch valve. The magnetic switch valve can be switched from a closed switch state into an open switch state, via the movement of a rotor by means of a switching magnet applied with current against a conservative restoring force. According to the invention, during the switching of the switch valve from the open state into the closed state, the time course of the current flowing through the switching magnet and/or of the voltage at the switching magnet is measured. The characteristic value to be measured is evaluated from this time course. It was recognised that every movement of the rotor against the switching magnet induced a voltage in same. Now the voltage at the switching magnet is regulated at a constant value, for one, the voltage induced by the movement can be observed as a control deviation in the short term. For another, the induced voltage causes a current flow through the switching magnets. Based on this, the kinematics of the rotor can be deduced. Given that the switching magnet has an ohmic resistance, energy is also dissipated via the current flow. This energy is the key to determining the switching path covered by the rotor when switching between the closed and the open state. The invention also relates to a measuring device that is particularly suitable for the method.

OVERRUN AIR RECIRCULATION VALVE FOR A COMPRESSOR OF AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

A divert-air valve for a compressor of an internal combustion engine includes a flow housing with a duct, an actuator, a control body moved by the actuator to control a throughflow cross section of the duct, an armature, openings in the control body, a valve housing with a housing wall, a support ring with a ring-shaped plate and a cylinder wall, and a sealing ring which seals the housing interior with respect to a part of the duct. The armature is connected to the control body. The openings fluidically connect the housing interior to a part of the duct. The valve housing surrounds the actuator and a part of the control body. The support ring bears, via the cylinder wall, radially from the outside against the housing wall. The radial sealing ring lies axially against the ring-shaped plate and bears radially at the outside against the housing wall.

GAS VALVE AND METHOD FOR ACTUATION THEREOF
20170241561 · 2017-08-24 ·

A method for controlling the through-flow cross-section of a gas valve is described. The gas valve comprises a valve body in which a flow channel is provided, a valve element which can be displaced therein between a closed position and an opened position, an armature, a coil, a spring and a control circuit. For opening the flow channel, the control circuit excites the coil with a pulse width-modulated current, the pulse duty factor of which, starting from a starting value, is increased until the armature starts moving out of the closed position against the effect of the spring. Then, the control circuit reduces the pulse duty factor before the valve element has reached the opened position. The control circuit then sets the pulse duty factor at a predefined holding value with which the valve element is held in the opened position.
