A plurality of nozzles is engaged to the first face of the plate and is operationally engaged to and in fluidic communication with the valve. The nozzles can spray the cleaning solution past a leading edge of the plate. An actuator is engaged to the rod proximate its second end and is operationally engaged to the valve. The actuator selectively actuates the valve to dispense the cleaning solution through the nozzles onto a substantially vertical surface proximate to the leading edge of the plate.

The pump is preferably a mud pump for circulating drilling mud through a drill string in a wellbore or a cement pump which may be of the type for pumping cement into a wellbore. Also disclosed is a method for facilitating opening a valve comprising a valve head (160) and a valve seat (167), the valve head (160) is movable a predetermined distance from a closed position on the valve seat (167) to a fully open position distant on the valve seat, and the method comprises the step of adding a force to the valve head (160) along a small portion of the predetermined distance.
PRESSUR REGULATOR
A pressure regulator has a housing with an inlet, an outlet and a valve seat. A regulator sleeve is arranged within the housing and defines a flow channel from an upstream end adapted for cooperating with the valve seat towards a downstream end associated with the outlet. A spring biases the regulator sleeve towards the outlet. The downstream end of the flow channel tapers outwardly.
Valve with a Control Space Vented via a Sealing Groove
A valve includes a basic body, control spool, sealing ring, and control cover. The control spool is received in the basic body to be movable along a longitudinal axis. The basic body includes a counter-sealing surface, connecting channel, and tank channel having at least one first annular groove surrounding the control spool. The control cover and at least one end face of the control spool facing toward the longitudinal axis delimits, at least in part, a control space. The control cover includes a sealing surface that abuts the counter-sealing surface of the basic body. At least one of the sealing surface and the counter-sealing surface includes a sealing groove that surrounds the control space in ring-like fashion. The sealing ring is received in the sealing groove. The connecting channel opens out into the tank channel and into the sealing groove.
DIRECTIONAL CONTROL HYDRAULIC VALVE AND SYSTEM INCLUDING SAME
Proposed are directional control hydraulic valves and a system including the same, the system including: a first valve controlling a flow of a fluid flowing thereinto from a first input port by being interlocked with a solenoid valve that is switched to an excited (on) state or non-excited (off) state; and a second valve connected to the first valve and controlling a flow of the fluid flowing thereinto from the first valve by a fluid flowing thereinto from a second input port or a third input port, wherein at least a part of the fluid having been passed through the first valve is discharged through a first output port and then flows into the second input port or the third input port. In addition, the system including at least two directional control valves may be provide, whereby multiplexing of the system may be implemented.
Valve with a locked set screw that is covered with a cap having a rotation space fitting freely over a nut and a female threaded portion screwed onto the set screw
A valve includes a set screw that is screwable into and out of a complementary female threaded opening in a valve part for changing a setting of the valve, for changing an adjustable flow restriction of the valve, in which the set screw includes a free outer end that projects outside the valve part, and a gripping part on its free outer end for a tool to be engageable thereupon. The free outer end of the set screw includes a male thread onto which a locking nut is screwed. A protective cap is provided for covering the free outer end, that includes a first cap portion with a rotation space for fitting freely rotatable over the locking nut, and a second cap portion with a complementary female thread that is screwed onto the male thread towards a locked position.
