PRESSURE REFERENCED VALVE
A referenced pressure valve for a fluid system having a housing including: an inner wall enclosing a cavity providing fluid communication between the inlet and the outlet; a rim in the cavity defining a bypass passage circumscribed outwardly by the inner wall and inwardly by the rim, an upstream passage located between an upstream end of the cavity and the rim, and a downstream passage located between the rim and a downstream end of the cavity. A rib extends outwardly from the rim to the inner wall through the bypass passage, and a piston assembly, received within a chamber circumscribed outwardly by the rim, includes a piston movable relative to the rim between a position in which the piston obstructs the flow path at the upstream passage and a position in which the piston is at least partially clear of the path to permit flow along the path.
FLUID SHUT-OFF DEVICE
A fluid shut-off device has a valve body delimiting an inlet duct and an outlet duct and having an intermediate portion delimiting an intermediate chamber that provides fluid connection between the inlet and outlet ducts. The inlet duct has an inlet duct connection edge. The intermediate chamber has a sealing surface and accommodates a diaphragm having a diaphragm sealing portion that in a closing position of the inlet duct, cooperates, by a diaphragm support surface, with the sealing surface to occlude the inlet duct. The diaphragm has a diaphragm bending portion permanently connecting the diaphragm sealing portion to the valve body to exclusively operate under bending. The diaphragm sealing portion delimits a diaphragm seat. A control element has a control stem with predetermined transverse control stem dimension and integrally received in the diaphragm seat, which transmits movement to the diaphragm sealing portion at least between the closing position and an opening position of the inlet duct.
MULTI-FUNCTION VALVE
A multi-function valve is disclosed. The multi-function valve including a housing having an internal bore therein; a spool valve positioned in the internal bore, the spool valve configured to seal and direct a flow of compressed air and exhaust; and a spring operably connected to the spool valve, the spring biasing the spool valve in a normally open exhausting position.
FLUID CONTROL DEVICE
A fluid control device includes a housing partitioned into an input chamber and an output chamber by a housing land portion extending on the radially inner side, a spool arranged inside the housing and provided with a spool land portion that is configured to reciprocatively slide with respect to the housing land portion and that extends on a radially outer side of the spool, and a biasing member configured to bias the spool toward a valve closing position, wherein upon receiving drive force from an exterior, the spool is moved against bias force of the biasing member, and the input chamber and the output chamber communicate with each other, the spool includes a large diameter portion arranged in the input chamber and having a larger diameter than the spool land portion, and the large diameter portion and the housing land portion form a poppet valve structure.
Method for operation control of compressor and the compressor
In a method for operation control of a compressor, full-load running in which a gas intake control valve is fully open and a target rotation speed of a drive source is set to a full-load rotation speed that is a maximum rotation speed in a speed control band when pressure of compressed gas supplied to the consumption side is a datum pressure or less is carried out; then no-load running in which the valve is fully closed and a no-load rotation speed is set as the target rotation speed of the drive source when the supply pressure is a no-load running pressure or less that is a pressure higher than the datum pressure is carried out. The no-load running is started from the standard no-load rotation speed, however, after a transition time, the target rotation speed is reduced to a low speed no-load rotation speed.
VALVE AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING PRESSURES OF A FLOW MEDIUM
A valve having at least one valve housing and at least one piston. The valve housing (7) has a hollow-cylindrical first portion (11) with a first diameter (D1) and a second portion (12), connected to the first portion (11), with a second diameter (D2); a first opening (15) is formed on the end face of the valve housing (7) and at least a second opening (16) is formed in the second portion (12); and the first diameter (D1) of the first portion (11) is greater than the second diameter (D2) of the second portion.
Pressure regulator
A pressure regulator including a closure resisting mechanism that increases the total closure resisting force of a closure element to prevent the closure element from moving into a closed position until a predetermined pressure set point is reached. The closure resisting mechanism operates automatically and is spring actuated in response to pressure within a fluid pathway of the regulator. The closure resisting mechanism is disposed external to the fluid pathway so as not to impede fluid flow.
Metering valve with mid-stroke shutoff
A metering valve has a shutoff position at which it blocks flow from the metering valve outlet line from reaching an outlet to a use. A spool has a first end and a second end. The housing has a first shoulder associated with the first end and a second shoulder associated with the second end. In the shutoff position, the spool has the first end spaced from the first shoulder, and the second end spaced from the second shoulder. A fuel system for a gas turbine engine is also disclosed.
Spring loaded sleeve valve with controlled closing force
A sleeve valve includes an inlet port and an outlet port. A sleeve is movable to close flow from the inlet port to the outlet port. The sleeve valve has a sleeve biased to an open position at which it allows flow from the inlet port to the outlet port by a spring. Pressure in a pressure chamber urges the sleeve to a closed position at which it blocks flow from the inlet port to the outlet port. A line pressure conduit communicates the fluid chamber into the pressure chamber. Pressurized air is supplied to the pressure chamber through a selectively closed valve. The selectively closed valve is opened to allow the flow of high pressure air from a pressure source into the pressure chamber to move the sleeve to a closed position. A bleed air system for a gas turbine engine is also disclosed.
Apparatus for negative-pressure therapy and irrigation
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for irrigating a tissue site are described. The system can include a tissue interface and a sealing member configured to be placed over the tissue site to form a sealed space, and a negative-pressure source fluidly coupled to the sealed space. The system includes an irrigation valve having a housing, a piston disposed in the housing, a fluid inlet to fluidly couple a fluid inlet chamber to a fluid source, and a fluid outlet to fluidly couple a fluid outlet chamber to the sealed space. A piston passage extends through the piston and fluidly couples the fluid inlet chamber and the fluid outlet chamber, and a biasing member is coupled to the piston to bias the irrigation valve to a closed position. The negative-pressure source is configured to move the piston between the closed position and an open position to draw fluid to the sealed space.
