AIR TURBINE DRIVEN ROTARY VALVE FOR VITRECTOMY PROBE
Certain embodiments provide a vitrectomy probe including a housing, an actuator disposed inside the housing, a cutter coupled to the actuator and extending from the housing and an air turbine disposed inside the housing. The air turbine includes a rotor and a plurality of turbine blades coupled to the rotor. The vitrectomy probe includes a valve body interfacing with the rotor. During rotation of the air turbine, air is selectively routed to and from the actuator according to a rotational position of the rotor in relation to the valve body, thereby reciprocating the cutter.
Control apparatus for linear solenoid
A control apparatus for controlling a linear solenoid by controlling a driving current supplied to the linear solenoid through a feedback control. The feedback control is executed by a feedback control system having parameters that are determined in accordance with an ILQ design method. In a frequency characteristic of a gain of a transfer function representing a ratio of an output to a disturbance in the feedback control system, the gain is lower than 0 [dB] throughout all frequency ranges.

VALVE ACTUATOR DEVICE WITH DRIVING ARM HAVING A MODULAR STRUCTURE
A valve actuator device includes a supporting body, a driving shaft, and a fluid cylinder having a body connected to one side of the supporting body. The cylinder has a rod that controls rotation of a driving arm rigidly connected to the driving shaft. Linear movement of the rod is converted into rotation of the driving arm by engagement of a cam-follower pin carried by the rod within a slot formed in the driving arm. The slot is formed in an insert that constitutes an element separate from the driving arm body and that is received and held within a seat of the driving arm body. Thus, a single main body for the driving arm provided, having a plurality of inserts for selective mounting within the seat and are differentiated from one another in the dimensions and shape of the slot and/or in the material of the insert.
FLUID LEVEL SENSING ASSEMBLY FOR MOTORISED VALVE
A fluid level sensor assembly includes a first pipe component defining a flow path for the fluid and configured to be attached to a valve to control flow of the fluid from the first pipe component, and a fluid level sensor arranged in or on the first pipe component to detect a level of fluid in the first pipe component and to generate a command signal for operation of the valve according to the level detected. The assembly also includes an insert fitted to an end of the first pipe component and extending axially from the end to be fitted to an inlet of the valve, in use, wherein the insert is configured to secure the first pipe component against rotation relative to the valve inlet when the insert is fitted to the inlet.

Air vent and liquid relief valve for a pressurized system
A valve with a controlled closing system includes housing having an inlet port, a liquid outlet port, and an inlet chamber. A pressure responsive closing mechanism is disposed between the inlet port and the liquid outlet port. A control chamber is in fluid communication with the inlet chamber via a fluid passage. The fluid passage includes a controlled closing system for controlling opening and closing of the fluid passage. The controlled closing system includes a seal movable with respect to and sealable against an opening of the fluid passage.
