ACTUATION AND VALVE MECHANISM
The invention provides a cable drive device (10) including a linear drive member (12), and a cable drum (14) attached to a support bracket (30, 32) adapted to be affixed to a surface. The cable drum (14) has an axle (26) supported by the support bracket (30, 32) to allow rotation of the cable drum (14). The cable drum (14) has a cable (42) affixed at either end of said linear drive member (12) and tautly wrapped around the cable drum (14). The cable drum (14) is located between the ends of the linear drive member (12) to, in use, allow the linear drive member (12) to be guided through the bracket (30, 32) to move the linear drive member (12) longitudinally when the axle (26) is rotated.
ADJUSTMENT ARRANGEMENT AND VALVE CONTROL DEVICE COMPRISING AN ADJUSTMENT ARRANGEMENT
The present invention provides an adjustment arrangement (10), comprising a rotating input element (26) at which a first torque from a motor arrangement (18, 22) can be inputted into the adjustment arrangement, a rotating output element (16) at which a second torque can be outputted by the adjustment arrangement, and a transmission portion for converting the first torque into the second torque, the transmission portion comprising a transmission means (32) having a first threaded portion (30) and a second threaded portion (34), the first threaded portion converting a rotation of the input element (26) into an axial movement of the transmission means, and the second threaded portion converting an axial movement of the transmission means into a rotation of the output element (16).
GATE VALVE ARRANGEMENT
A valve arrangement includes a valve body having a stem rotatably attached at least partially within the body, a handle in operable communication with the stem and configured to rotate the stem by turning the handle, and an actuation portion in contact with the stem and configured to move when the handle is turned and the stem rotated. The actuation portion includes a carrier having an inner bore. The inner bore receives at least a portion of the stem. The stem includes first and second thread portions. The first thread portion has a first thread pitch at least partially received within the inner bore. The second thread portion is in communication with a bonnet attached to the body with a second thread pitch and moves the stem with respect to the body. The second pitch is smaller than the first pitch.
ACTUATION AND VALVE MECHANISM
An arrangement for controlling and measuring flow. The arrangement includes a fluid control barrier and a flow-measuring apparatus upstream of the fluid control barrier. The fluid control barrier includes a pair of plates for opening and closing a pipe, and the plates are movable towards a center line of the pipe to open the pipe and produce a symmetrical flow profile for the flow-measuring apparatus.
Threaded type valve connector
A valve connector includes a connecting member, a threaded member, a joint member, and first and second connection assemblies. The connecting member is inserted into an axial hole of the threaded member to cause an abutting portion of the connecting member to enter into the axial hole. The joint member forms two threaded sections at two opposite ends thereof. The two threaded sections are alternatively detachably connected to a threaded portion of the threaded member so that a first seal ring of the first connection assembly and a second seal ring of the second connection assembly are alternatively removably abutted against the abutting portion for connecting a Schrader valve and a Presta valve.

ACTUATION AND VALVE MECHANISM
A cable drive device including an arcuate segment drive member and a cable drum having an axle to allow rotation of the cable drum. The cable drum has a cable affixed at either end of the arcuate section of the arcuate segment drive member and tautly wrapped around the cable drum. The cable drum is located between the ends of the arcuate section of the arcuate segment drive member to, in use, allow the arcuate segment drive member to be moved when the axle is rotated. The cable is located in a groove in the arcuate section and a part of the cable drum extends into the groove, and the cable drum and the arcuate segment drive member simulate a rack and pinion drive.
Manually actuated valve with over-travel feature
A manually actuated valve assembly includes a valve body defining a flow passage, a valve member assembled with the valve body, an actuator housing assembled with the valve body, an actuator stem having an upper stem portion coupled with a lower stem portion by a coupling, a rotatable actuator drive member coupled to said upper stem portion, and a biasing spring disposed in the actuator housing. The actuator drive member is rotatable between a first stop position corresponding to a fully open valve position, and a second stop position corresponding to a fully closed valve position. The coupling between the upper stem portion and the lower stem portion is configured to provide an over-travel condition between the actuator drive member and said actuator stem configured to provide a closed valve condition at a predetermined rotational position of the actuator drive member that is offset from the second stop position.
