Fluid metering valve
A motorised fluid metering valve includes an inlet pipe, a discharge pipe and a motor moving a piston that can move linearly between a closed position in which a distal end of the piston sealingly engages with a seat of matching shape, and an open position. The valve is configured to have a flow rate that varies continuously between the closed position and the open position depending on an axial position of the piston. The inlet pipe opens in a periphery of the discharge pipe, with a constant protuberance regardless of the position of the piston, the protuberance not extending radially beyond a barycentre of the discharge pipe. Also, the motor is a rotary electric motor moving the piston in translation.
Systems and methods for controlling fluid flow with a fluid distribution manifold
A fluid distribution manifold may receive a first required flow rate for a first flow of fluid that flows to a fluid handling device or a reservoir. A first operation state may be determined for a first valve assembly that regulates the first flow, the manifold may operate the first valve assembly based on the first operation state, and a first position tracker may be incremented based on the first operation. Based on a value of a cycle tracker, the manifold may identify a second valve assembly in an operation cycle and access a second control input that includes a second required flow rate for a second flow of fluid regulated by the second valve assembly. The manifold may cause the second valve assembly to operate based on at least one of a second operation state and a change in the second actual flow rate resulting from the first operation.
Electronic expansion valve
An electronic expansion valve is provided including: a valve body provided with a first port and a second port, a first cavity being defined in the valve body and being in fluid communication with the first port, the valve body also being provided with a valve port between the second port and the first cavity; a drive mechanism including a rotor having a rotor screw and a stator; a valve spindle assembly at least partially disposed in the valve body and being capable of operatively cooperating with the rotor screw for reciprocating motion to adjust the degree of opening of the valve port; and a second cavity isolated and sealed off from the first cavity, wherein a balancing passage is formed in the rotor screw and the valve spindle assembly to enable the second cavity to be in fluid communication with the second port via the balancing passage.
WASTEGATE ACTUATOR AND WASTEGATE VALVE DRIVING DEVICE
A wastegate actuator includes a direct-current motor, a shaft for opening and closing a wastegate valve of a turbocharger, and a screw mechanism for converting a rotary motion of the direct-current motor into a linear motion of the shaft, and the screw mechanism has a lead angle in accordance with a current of the direct-current motor that is required to hold the shaft at a position.
GATE VALVE AND SEATS FOR A GATE VALVE
A gate valve and a seat for a gate valve having a valve body, which may be used for hydrocarbon well fracturing operations with a fracturing fluid, or “frac fluid”, includes a seat pocket for receipt of the seat, which seat may include a tubular member having a seat end face, the seat end face includes two annular seals disposed in seat grooves, at least one of which is a half-dovetail groove.
METHOD OF CONTROLLING CHEMICAL CONCENTRATION IN ELECTROLYTE
A method of controlling chemical concentration in electrolyte includes measuring a chemical concentration in an electrolyte, wherein the electrolyte is contained in a tank; and increasing a vapor flux through an exhaust pipe connected to the tank when the measured chemical concentration is lower than a control lower limit value.
VALVE INSERT SYSTEM
A system including a valve. The valve includes a valve body having an interior volume and a bore along a first axis. A stem extends along a second axis and a flow control element couples to the stem. The stem selectively moves the flow control element through the interior volume between a closed position and an open position relative to the bore. A valve insert system retains a pressurized lubricant in the interior volume.
Flow rate regulating device and control method of flow rate regulating device
Provided is a flow rate regulating device including a valve body section having a flat valve body surface; a main body section including a valve chamber, an inflow channel, an outflow channel, and a communication channel; a valve seat section having a flat valve seat surface provided around an inflow opening; a regulation mechanism that moves the valve body section along an axis to regulate a distance between the valve body surface and the valve seat surface; and a control unit that controls the regulation mechanism so that the valve body section moves in a movement range in which the valve body surface and the valve seat surface maintain a non-contact state, wherein a channel cross-sectional area of the communication channel is smaller than each of a channel cross-sectional area of the inflow channel and a channel cross-sectional area of the outflow channel.
Lockout tagout device and valve
A valve assembly including a valve housing and a handle that is movable about an actuation axis to actuate a valve actuator within the valve housing between an open position and a closed position. The handle has a first opening and the valve housing has a second opening. When the valve actuator is in the closed position the first opening aligns with the second opening to enable receipt of a lockout member that prevents movement of the valve actuator from the closed position to the open position.
OPERATION VALVE
An operation valve includes a valve formed into a rod shape and including a barrel portion in which a flow path for a fluid is provided, a head portion in which an inlet of the flow path is provided, and a leg portion in which an outlet of the flow path is provided, a housing body housing the barrel portion, and an operation dial screw coupled to the housing body and moving the valve in an extension direction of the valve.
