Faucet assembly with friction ring
Disclosed is a friction ring including a body and a contact member. The body is configured to couple the friction ring to at least one of a faucet assembly or a faucet valve assembly. The contact member is disposed on the body. The contact member is configured to slidably engage with a valve stem of the faucet valve assembly. The contact member is further configured to press against the valve stem to increase a frictional force between the contact member and the valve stem over a full range of movement of the valve stem.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BIASING FAUCET HANDLE
An apparatus including a handle device; a valve device for controlling water flow, the valve device having a first opening; and a device for biasing the handle device such that changing the handle device from an off state to an on state, without intentionally moving the handle device towards a hot water position or a cold water position, causes the handle device to cause the valve device to direct either hot or cold water, but not both, from either a hot supply pipe or a cold supply pipe, respectively, and out of an opening from the valve device. The device for biasing the handle device may include a spring.
Multi functional spray for bidet attachment
A bidet attachment system includes an attachment structure configured for removable attachment to a toilet bowl, a spray structure for spraying water, a rotatable dial located on a top side of the attachment structure, and a valve having an inlet section, a valve section downstream of the inlet section, the valve section regulating passage of water from the inlet section, an outlet section downstream of the valve section, wherein the outlet section includes a first outlet that allows for egress of water and a second outlet that allows for egress of water, wherein the valve section includes an adjustable control disc being mechanically coupled with the dial such that rotation of the dial rotates the control disc, the control disc having a first and a second channel bore, and a stationary disc downstream from the stationary disc having a first and a second channel bore.
FLUID FLOW CONTROL UNIT
A fluid flow control unit adapted to control flow of fluid from a tap is disclosed. The fluid flow control unit comprises a vertical piece (101) extending along the length of the tap; and a horizontal piece (102) extending along a handle of the tap, wherein the vertical piece (101) and the horizontal piece (102) are sheet structures attached together at a predetermined angle, wherein one of sides (101a) of the vertical piece (101) is attached to one of sides (102a) of horizontal piece, and wherein a point of attachment of the vertical piece (101) and the horizontal piece is above the handle (105) of the tap.
FAUCET WITH CLEAN AND DIRTY CONTROLS
A pair of levers are provided extending from a common junction to free tips which are spaced from each other. The junction is coupled to a valve of a faucet, with such a coupling either being direct or with intervening structures. The valve can be controlled by a user manual gripping and applying force to either the first lever or the second lever. The levers are sufficiently far apart that a user can control the valve while only touching one of the levers. The junction can be removably attachable to a control knob coupled to the valve or can be built into the faucet. The two levers are preferably elongate in form and preferably include indicia thereon indicating that one of the levers should be used first and the other of the levers should be used last. In one embodiment, the indicia include the wording “dirty” and “clean.”
CAP ASSEMBLY
A cap assembly includes two caps each pivotable about an axis of a respective pivot rod between an open position and a closed position, the two pivot rods arranged adjacent each other with parallel pivot axes (B) to define a hinge region, each cap having a pivot end extending into the hinge region between the two pivot rods; and a common pivot mechanism arranged to push against the pivot ends, in response to actuation of the pivot mechanism, to pivot the caps substantially simultaneously to the closed position, the common pivot mechanism comprising: a lever; a cam in connection with the lever and located in the hinge region such that actuation of the lever causes movement of the cam in the hinge region along the direction of the pivot axes; a plunger located in the hinge region between the cam and the pivot ends.
VALVE CORE ASSEMBLY
The valve core assembly includes a valve housing member, an actuating member, a control plate, a moving plate member, a static plate member, a valve seat member and a sealing member coupled to obtain the valve core assembly. The valve housing member includes a first end portion and a second end portion. The actuating member is rotatably disposed in the valve housing member along the first end portion. The control plate is disposed in the second cavity and coupled to the actuating member. The moving plate member is coupled to the control plate and disposed in the second cavity. The static plate member is disposed adjacent to the moving plate member in the second cavity. The valve seat member is detachably coupled to the valve housing member. The sealing member is removably disposed in a cutout portion of the valve seat member. The valve seat member includes design variations.
TEMPERATURE-LIMITING VALVE ASSEMBLY WITH HIGH TEMPERATURE SANITARY FLUSHING MODE
A temperature limiting valve assembly and its associated limiting arrangement are provided. The temperature limiting valve assembly includes a valve body and the limiting arrangement installed on the valve body. The limiting arrangement includes a limiting member and clip removably installed on the limiting member. The clip defines a limiting position of the valve assembly. The limiting position denotes the maximum output flow temperature of the valve assembly. Removal of the clip also removes the aforementioned limiting position of the valve to allow a temperature output flow which is greater than the maximum output flow for purposes of sanitation.
Nonlinear transmission rate between operating handle and operated mechanism
Device and method are disclosed for transforming an angular movement changing linearly to a linear movement changing non-linearly with respect to the linear change of the angular movement. Embodiments of the device and method may be useful for on providing better and more accurate control of a user of the amount of fluid flowing from a faucet at the low flow rates. According to other embodiments a flow diversion plate is disclosed adapted to divert the flow entering the plate through one facet of the plate at a input location to an outlet opening diverted away from the input location by an angular diversion of between 90 to 180 degrees.
