PRESSUR REGULATOR
A pressure regulator has a housing with an inlet, an outlet and a valve seat. A regulator sleeve is arranged within the housing and defines a flow channel from an upstream end adapted for cooperating with the valve seat towards a downstream end associated with the outlet. A spring biases the regulator sleeve towards the outlet. The downstream end of the flow channel tapers outwardly.
SENSOR-OPERATED KITCHEN FAUCET
A sensor-operated kitchen faucet comprises a base, a mixing valve, a control assembly and a spout. The base extends vertically to define an inner space. The mixing valve is disposed in the inner space and communicated to a cold source and a hot source to supply a combined fluid. The control assembly comprises a inlet conduit, a outlet conduit, a cushioning member, a solenoid valve and a sensor. The inlet conduit is connected to the mixing valve to receive the combined fluid, the cushioning member comprises an outer tubing and an inner tubing, and the solenoid valve is electrically connected to the sensor and movably disposed at a connecting port communicated between the outer tubing the inner tubing. The spout is fluidly connected to the outlet conduit of the control assembly through a connecting conduit to supply the combined fluid.
CHECK VALVE ASSEMBLY
A check valve assembly for a supply pipe. The check valve assembly includes a hinge pin, a first flapper, and a second flapper. The first flapper is pivotally coupled to the second flapper with the hinge pin. The check valve assembly also includes a stopper located between the first flapper and the second flapper. The stopper is configured to limit movement of the first flapper and the second flapper. The check valve assembly further includes a plate assembly located downstream of the stopper. The plate assembly is configured to break vortices formed in a fluid flow across the first flapper and the second flapper.
Slow-shift SPM valve
A subplate mounted (SPM) valve includes a valve body having pilot port, a piston configured to be actuated by fluid from the pilot port, a first control chamber and second control chamber each formed in the valve body and fluidicly isolated from the pilot port, a first flow restrictor fluidicly disposed between the first control chamber and the second control chamber and configured to restrict flow in at least one direction between the first control chamber and the second control chamber, a cage coupled to the valve body and having a supply port, a return port, and a work port, and a spool slidably engaged with the cage and configured to selectively restrict flow between the supply port and the return port by actuation of the piston.
LOW WATER HAMMER BREAK CHECK VALVE
A valve closure device for a check valve can include a first valve member configured to rotate from an open position to a closed position; a second valve member configured to rotate from an open position of the second valve member to a closed position of the second valve member; and a hydraulic dampener coupled to each of the first valve member and the second valve member in each of the open position and the closed position of each of the first valve member and the second valve member, the hydraulic dampener configured to resist rotation of the first valve member towards the closed position of the first valve member and the second valve member towards the closed position of the second valve member.
Regulator valve assembly and components thereof
A regulator valve assembly is provided for use in connection with high pressure fluid systems. The regulator valve assembly includes a valve pin having an engagement portion with a tapered surface and a valve seat having a valve pin receiving aperture defining a tapered surface on the valve seat to sealingly mate with the engagement portion of the valve pin. At least one of the valve pin and the valve seat includes an asymmetrical surface feature sized and shaped such that, when the valve pin is displaced away from the seated configuration and fluid flows through an annular space created between the engagement portion of the valve pin and the valve seat, unbalanced hydrodynamic forces arise from an interaction of the fluid with the asymmetrical surface feature. Systems incorporating the regulator valve assembly are also provided.
HYDRAULIC PILOT VALVE
Disclosed is a hydraulic pilot valve which is provided with an orifice so as to reduce vibration of a valve and minimize impact applied to a valve even when a valve is suddenly operated. At least some of hydraulic oil supplied to a supply chamber flows to a valve chamber or a central pipeline through a damping unit according to elevation of a spool.
Pressure actuated valve with shock absorber
A valve, with a valve housing, through which process medium can flow and in which a valve seat which surrounds a throughflow opening is arranged, to which valve seat a valve element which is arranged on a spindle is assigned in a manner such that the valve element by way of an actuation travel of the spindle is movable between a shut-off position, in which the valve element sealingly bears on the valve seat in a process-medium-tight manner, and an open position, in which the valve element is lifted from the valve seat, and with a fluid-actuated valve drive which includes a drive housing and a drive wall which together with the spindle forms a drive unit and which separates two working spaces from one another, of which working spaces at least one can be subjected to pressure, and with a travel limitation device which for limiting the opening travel of the spindle includes a stop element which is fastened to the drive housing and which with an end section which includes a stop surface projects into a travel limitation space, in which the drive unit can strike upon the stop surface for limiting the opening travel, the travel limitation space is constantly under atmospheric pressure and the stop element is formed by a shock absorber housing of a shock absorber.
Tub faucet having a control valve with reduced backpressure
A water control system including a showerhead and a tub faucet. The faucet has a valve configured to automatically restrict fluid flow through the faucet and direct fluid to the showerhead as a function of a parameter, such as a predetermined water temperature. The faucet has many modes of operation, including a Reset Mode, an Auto-Divert Mode, a Bypass Mode, and a Cold Mode. A flow control device generates minimal back-pressure when in the Reset Mode such that water does not undesirably back flow to a shower head.
