Rotation-resistant push-on conduit coupling cartridge
The present disclosure relates to a rotary plug valve and, more particularly, to a rotary plug valve having a fluid conduit cartridge including components that are assembled in a manner allowing for the rotation of a valve handle without rotation of the entire valve or supply line. Illustratively, a retainer ring and a backer ring are coupled with a gripper ring positioned therebetween. Coupling of the retainer ring and the backer ring creates compression on locking tabs of the grip ring, holding the locking tabs in place between tangs of the backer ring and preventing rotation of the gripper ring.
Stopcock
A stopcock for a channel that guides a flux medium in a medical endoscope, the stopcock having a housing accommodating a plug rotatable about an axis in a conical seat penetrated by the channel, wherein the housing has a bearing collar adjacent to the conical seat in the direction of the axis, in which bearing collar a handle body is mounted to be rotatable about the axis, the handle body supporting a handle outside the housing and rotationally coupled to the plug displaceable in direction of the axis and resiliently supported relative thereto, wherein the handle body has a radially elastic detent device engaging a circumferential inner groove of the bearing collar to be locking in direction of the axis, wherein the plug is arranged and configured bring the detent device out of engagement with the bearing collar upon displacement in direction of the axis into an unlocked position.
TORQUE REDUCTION VALVE HAVING SEPARATE STATIC SEAL AND DYNAMIC SEAL
A valve assembly includes a plug extending along a central axis and including a plug body having an external plug surface. The external plug surface tapers radially outwardly in a first direction along the central axis. The valve assembly further includes a sleeve having an internal sleeve surface defining an interior cavity. The internal sleeve surface tapers radially outwardly in the first direction. The plug body is positioned within the interior cavity of the sleeve. The plug is rotatable about the central axis relative to the sleeve, and the plug is also translatable along the central axis relative to the sleeve.
SLEEVED PLUG VALVE WITH REMOVABLE CARTRIDGE AND MODULAR OPTION FOR VALVE BODY
A valve includes a valve body including a housing. The housing has a first internal housing surface defining an internal chamber. The valve further includes a valve assembly including a cartridge and a sleeve fixedly secured to the cartridge. The sleeve has an internal sleeve surface defining an interior cavity. The valve assembly further includes a plug positioned within the interior cavity and including a plug body. The plug body has an external plug surface configured to sealingly engage the internal sleeve surface. The cartridge is removably coupled to the housing such that the sleeve is disposed within the internal chamber of the housing.
MOLDED PLUG CARTRIDGE WITH FLUOROPOLYMER
A valve assembly includes a cartridge configured to be removably coupled to a valve body. The cartridge includes a hub. The valve assembly further includes a sleeve encapsulating at least a portion of the hub and having an internal sleeve surface defining an interior cavity.
STOPCOCK, HOUSING OF A STOPCOCK, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A HOUSING OF A STOPCOCK
A medical endoscope is an instrument having an elongate, tubular shaft. The instrument is commonly provided with a flushing device. The flushing liquid can be guided through corresponding separate liquid channels. In order to be able to control the flow of the liquid, the liquid channels have a stopcock. The stopcocks here are of complex construction, and for this reason both the production thereof and the cleaning thereof are complicated. The invention includes a stopcock and also a housing and a method for producing the housing, by way of which the production and the cleaning of the housing are simplified. This is achieved in that a housing and at least one spring element for form-fitting fixing of a plug in a position in the interior space of the housing are manufactured integrally from a single part, that is to say in one part.
Detachable tap having a spring element for fastening and prestressing
A tap for producing and disconnecting a fluidic connection between at least two connector parts. The tap includes one connecting and disconnecting element, a manual actuating element for rotating the connecting and disconnecting element. The manual actuating element and the connecting and disconnecting element are coupled mechanically. The tap includes a main body having at least one connector part and an interior space for receiving the connecting and disconnecting element, the interior space includes a contact surface for being brought into contact with the connecting and disconnecting element.
Push-fit spigot
A push-fit spigot. The spigot includes a push-fit coupling member removably disposed within an internal passage of a body of the spigot. The coupling member enables simple push-fit installation of the spigot on a stub-out in a structure. The coupling member is retained within the internal passage of the spigot by a removable fastener. A removal plate is installed on the stub-out prior to making insertion of the stub-out into the coupling member. Removal of the spigot from an installation on the stub-out is simply performed by removing the fastener between the coupling member and the body to enable removal of the body. The removal plate is then useable to depress a release collar in the coupling member to disengage the push-fit mechanism therein from the stub-out.
Gas line cockvalve maintenance device and method of operation
A system and method of performing maintenance on a wing cock valve coupled to a pressurized gas delivery pipe is provided. The method removing a plug from a port on the valve. A threaded portion of a grease tool is coupled to the port, the grease tool having a body coupled to the threaded portion and a fitting on an opposite end, the fitting, body and threaded portion defining a flow path. A hose is coupled on a grease gun to the fitting; and actuating the grease gun to flow a grease from a reservoir through the flow path and into the valve.
