MODULAR GLAND ARRANGEMENTS FOR A FLUID END ASSEMBLY
A closure element for a fluid end assembly that has two or more recessed grooves formed in its outer surface. The grooves are axially offset. A seal is placed in one and only one of the grooves. As wear occurs, the seal is relocated to one of the other grooves. Instead of a series of axially offset grooves in a single closure element, a kit may be formed from two or more otherwise identical closure elements, each with a single recessed groove at a different axial position. Another closure element has a series of ledge-like surfaces defining spaces within which a seal may be received. One outer surface surrounds one or more of the other surfaces. A seal is placed in one and only one of the spaces. As wear occurs, the seal is relocated to one of the other spaces.
SEALING HIGH PRESSURE FLOW DEVICES
Apparatus and method contemplating a high pressure fluid end assembly having a body defining a body bore and defining a recess in the body intersecting the body bore. A closure is joined to the body and forms a sealing surface. A seal is mounted to the body in the recess and configured to extend from the recess beyond the body bore to seal against the sealing surface formed by the closure.
Multi-Passage Valve
The present disclosure provides a multi-passage valve including a housing, a valve element, and a sealing element. The valve element is rotatably disposed inside the housing around an axis, and has at least two regions on an outer side thereof. The regions are arranged in a direction of rotation of the valve element, and each extends in an axial direction of the valve element and has a plurality of connecting passages. The sealing element extends by a distance around the valve element, keeps in contact with an outer surface of the valve element, and is provided with a plurality of openings which communicate with the outside. One of the regions is capable of being covered by the sealing element by rotating the valve element to form an operating region, each of the connecting passages in the operating region being capable of connecting at least two of the openings.
Hydraulic end assembly structure of a plunger pump
A hydraulic end assembly structure of a plunger pump, comprising a valve housing assembly, a suction gland and a suction pressing cap. The suction gland is connected to the suction pressing cap, and the suction gland is connected to the valve housing assembly through the suction packing seal assembly.
FLUIDIC CONNECTION DEVICE AND NON-RETURN INSERT VALVE FOR VEHICLES
A non-return insert valve (100) for a fluid circuit, in particular of a vehicle, this valve (100) being configured to be inserted into a pipe (12) and comprising: a tubular body (102), a ring (104) comprising guides (140), a piston (106) configured to slidingly cooperate with said guides (140) and carrying a seal (146), and an elastically deformable member (108) for biasing said seal (146) in axial support against a seat (124) of the tubular body (102), said piston (106) comprising at its external periphery lugs (166) which are configured to be supported axially against an internal cylindrical shoulder (126) of said body (102), in order to precisely define a first position of the piston, the fluid being intended to flow between these lugs (166) when the piston (106) is in a second position.
Sealing device and method for assembling same
A sealing device includes: a housing; a seal ring configured to be axially displaceably inserted along an inner circumference of the housing, the seal ring including a front-end surface and a rear-end surface which defines packing mounting space; a packing configured to establish sealing between the housing and the seal ring, the packing being disposed in the packing mounting space; and spring means disposed on the rear-end surface side of the seal ring to elastically bias the seal ring toward the front-end surface side.
SEAL AND VALVE APPARATUS HAVING SUCH A SEAL, AS WELL AS METHOD FOR SEALING A VALVE APPARATUS
A valve apparatus, in particular a ball valve apparatus, is provided. The apparatus includes a housing device having at least one fluid port, a closure body, wherein the closure body includes an axis of rotation about which the closure body can be rotated in a direction of rotation in order to release and close the fluid port, wherein the fluid port includes a seal for sealing abutment against the closure body. The seal includes a first and a second sealing lip, wherein the sealing lips are configured such that, during operation, only one seal sealingly abuts against the closure body.
AIRCRAFT STORE EJECTOR SYSTEM
An aircraft store ejector systems and subsystems thereof. Embodiments can include a two-reservoir re-pressurization system wherein a remote reservoir is used to maintain desired pressure in a local ejector reservoir. The system can include a release valve having a vent valve and valve piston. The release valve can control release of pressurized gas to a pitch control valve. The pitch control valve can be configured to distribute the pressurized gas between two or more ejector piston assemblies. One or more of the ejector piston assemblies can include multiple concentric piston stages and piston chambers, the piston chambers configured to contain a volume of gas. The ejector piston assemblies can be configured to compress the volume of gas within the piston chambers as the piston stages are extended out from the aircraft. Such compression can provide a return force to the piston stages.
Valve with pressure differential seating
A valve for use in oil and gas production or similar applications includes a plug or other flow barrier disposed in a cavity of a hollow valve body with a metal-to-metal sealing surface that is not reliant on any rubberized or elastomeric material to effect a seal.
Sealing high pressure flow devices
Apparatus and method contemplating a high pressure fluid end assembly having a body defining a body bore and defining a groove in the body intersecting the body bore. A closure is joined to the body and forms a sealing surface. A seal is mounted to the body in the groove and configured to extend from the groove beyond the body bore to seal against the sealing surface formed by the closure.
