Plug Valve Assembly
A plug valve assembly has a valve body with an inlet and an outlet each defining a fluid passageway in fluid communication with a cavity defined within the valve body. The valve body further has a collar defining a service opening extending upward from the valve body. A plug with a spindle top and a plug body is disposed within the cavity. The plug has an opening that is operable to obstruct the fluid passageway when it is in a closed position and to connect the inlet to the outlet when it is in an open position. The spindle top of the plug has a hexagonal outer profile and a through opening and adaptable to engage with a variety of actuating devices. A threaded cap is removably engaged with the collar of the valve body and is operable to retain the plug within the valve body cavity.
Grease system for high pressure plug valves
A system for distributing high viscosity grease to at least one plug valve includes a replaceable cartridge with a body having a chamber and a piston disposed within the chamber. The piston defines a first space within the chamber for receiving solid grease and a second opposing space within the chamber for receiving fluid for driving the piston to compress the solid grease received within the first space. A manifold detachably couples to the replaceable cartridge and has a manifold chamber for receiving grease flowing under compression from an outlet of the cartridge and a plurality of valves in fluid communication with the manifold chamber for selectively distributing grease to corresponding grease ports of the at least one plug valve.

O-ring lubrication system
A pressure regulator includes a cylinder and a piston contained in the cylinder. First and second O-rings are attached to the cylinder and configured to form a seal between the cylinder and an interior wall of the piston. The pressure regulator has a lubrication system that includes a lubrication reservoir between the first and second O-rings defined by an annular groove in an exterior surface of the piston and the interior wall of the cylinder, and an input port extending through the cylinder to the lubrication reservoir. The piston is configured to move along a central axis relative to the cylinder between first and second positions. The first and second O-rings are displaced from the input port during movement of the piston between the first and second positions.

Plug valve and methods
A plug valve including a valve body defining a cavity and a pair of fluid passages intersecting the cavity, the cavity defining a tapered interior surface of the valve body, a plug extending within the cavity, the plug defining an exterior surface and a fluid passage adapted to be substantially aligned with the fluid passages of the valve body, and an insert extending within the cavity and circumferentially about at least a portion of the plug, the insert defining a pair of fluid passages substantially aligned with the fluid passages of the valve body, respectively. In several exemplary embodiments, the plug valve is used in oil or gas operations, such as, for example, the fracturing or gravel packing of a subterranean wellbore, with the plug valve being used to control the flow of fracturing and/or gravel-packing fluids. Exemplary embodiments of methods associated with the plug valve are also described.
