VALVE ACTUATOR, VALVE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
The invention relates to a valve actuator having an actuator housing and an actuator element, in particular a pneumatic piston or a control diaphragm, that is movably mounted within the actuator housing. In an assembly state of the valve actuator, at least one first contour of the actuator element engages in at least one second contour which is fixed relative to the actuator housing in such a way that a rotation of the actuator element about an actuating axis is blocked in at least one direction of rotation.
Fluid distributor for a vehicle fluid distribution system and process of ejection of a fluid using such a system
A fluid distributor comprising: a fluid inlet, a first outlet connected to the inlet by a first fluid communication channel, a second outlet connected to the inlet by a second fluid communication channel, an actuator comprising a movable piston capable of moving between an initial position and a switched position; a first deformable diaphragm, in contact with the first end of the piston, and configured to close the first channel when the piston is in its switched position; a second deformable diaphragm, in contact with the second end of the piston, and configured to close the second channel when the piston is in its initial position.
ACTUATOR FOR HIGH-PRESSURE VALVE
Provided is an actuator including a ball-type thrust amplifier therein that controls a valve in which a high-pressure fluid flows, and having less wear between members and a long lifespan. This actuator for a valve includes a thrust amplification mechanism therein, in which the thrust amplification mechanism includes a disk, a ball presser, a stem, and a plurality of balls that are sandwiched by and in contact with an upper surface of the disk, a tapered surface of the ball presser, and a tapered surface of the stem and disposed to move outward as the stem moves downward, the surfaces of the parts constituting the thrust amplification mechanism are coated with grease containing an additive, and the additive of the grease includes at least chloroalkane.
DIAPHRAGM AND DIAPHRAGM VALVE
The invention relates to a diaphragm for a diaphragm valve. The diaphragm has a functional region and a fastening portion, which surrounds the functional region. In a relaxed state, the functional region includes a central portion, which protrudes on a wet side of the diaphragm; a lateral portion, which protrudes on a dry side of the diaphragm, the lateral portion being curved, at least in parts, toward the dry side of the diaphragm; and an intermediate portion, which is arranged between the central portion and the lateral portion and is curved, at least in parts, toward the wet side of the diaphragm.
Diaphragm assembly
Technologies are described for a diaphragm. The diaphragm may comprise a structure. The structure may be a disc shape with a top and bottom side. The top and bottom sides may be circular in outline. The diaphragm may comprise a diaphragm stud at a center point on the top side. The diaphragm stud may be configured to couple with a connector of a bonnet assembly. The diaphragm may comprise a diaphragm bead on the bottom side. The diaphragm bead may be along a first axis. The diaphragm may comprise at least one tab which may extend radially from the structure along at an outer edge of the structure. The at least one tab may engage with a bonnet notch of a bonnet assembly to align the diaphragm to the bonnet assembly.
HYDRAULICALLY OPERATED VALVE AND SYSTEMS FOR USE THEREWITH
The present application concerns a valve, and particularly position indicating assembly for use therewith. The position indicating assembly comprises a first end engageable with a valve member of the valve, an opposite second end displaceable with respect to a body of the valve in response to displacement of the first end, and an elongate bendable portion, extending between the first end and the second end, configured, upon movement of the valve member, to transmit forces operating along the elongate bendable portion, at least from said first end to said second end, so as to displace said second end, the elongate bendable portion being further configured for damping forces operating transversely thereto by reversibly bending.
ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE MITIGATION VALVE
This disclosure provides operative components that mitigate electrostatic charge in fluid circuits. Illustrative embodiments include diaphragm valves that provide fluid control and allow static charge to dissipate when these diaphragm valves are grounded.
TENSIONING ASSEMBLY FOR A PROCESS VALVE
A tensioning assembly for a process valve is provided, including a housing having an interface for rigid connection to a valve body, a drive which is arranged so as to be fixed to the housing, a gearing supported on the housing and driven by the drive, and a tensioning element arranged on the output of the gearing, wherein the tensioning element includes a contact surface which is designed to clamp a lateral outer collar of a diaphragm of the process valve between the tensioning element and the valve body.
VALVE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
An actuator assembly includes, a main body, a perimeter compressor, an actuator shaft, an actuator, and a sealing member. The perimeter compressor is slidable between a retracted position and an extended position. The actuator shaft extends through the main body and the perimeter compressor and is operably coupled with a proximal end of the actuator shaft to facilitate movement of the actuator shaft between the extended position and the retracted position. The sealing member includes an inner and outer portion. The inner portion is releasably coupled with the distal end of the actuator shaft and is configured to interface with the valve body. Sliding the perimeter compressor into the extended position facilitates sandwiching of the sealing member between the perimeter compressor and the valve body. Sliding the perimeter compressor into the retracted position facilitates releasement of the sealing member therefrom.
FLUID CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS
Fluid control valve assemblies for use in fire protection sprinkler systems to control the flow of firefighting fluid to the system sprinklers. The assemblies include a pressure-operated fluid control valve having an internal fluid chamber in which fluid contained therein acts on an internal diaphragm to control the flow of fluid from an inlet to an outlet of the valve. An environment-responsive control device in fluid communication with the internal fluid chamber along a first fluid communication line controls the flow of fluid out of the fluid chamber to initiate actuation of the valve. A fluid-flow latch in fluid communication with the outlet of the valve along a second fluid communication line subsequently controls the simultaneous flow of fluid out of the fluid chamber and the actuation of the valve.
