EXPANSION LOOP FOR COPPER PIPING SYSTEM

An expansion loop for a piping system. The expansion loop has a first flexible conduit with a first end and a second end and a second flexible conduit with a first end and a second end. A first rigid conduit is connected between the first ends of the first and second flexible conduits. Additional rigid conduits are connected to both of the second ends of the flexible conduits. These additional rigid conduits include a stainless-steel elbow, a conversion conduit, and a copper conduit. The expansion loop may be installed wherein the flexible conduits are bent, when fluid flows, the flexible conduits straighten out and are not bent.

A pipe device includes a pipe and a connection element. The pipe has a pipe jacket that has an inner surface and an outer surface and forms a flow channel. The connection element forms a through-channel that extends from a connection piece consisting of a first material (M1) and having a first opening to a second opening. The pipe jacket is positioned on the connection piece with a first pipe end consisting of a second material (M2). A bonded connection is formed between the first material (M1) and the second material (M2) in a contact region between the inner surface of the pipe jacket and a peripheral surface of the connection piece.

REFRIGERANT PIPE

A refrigerant pipe constituting a refrigerant circuit of a refrigeration apparatus, includes: a pipe body made of stainless steel; and a first connecting tube made of copper or a copper alloy and that is configured to connect a first different refrigerant pipe to the refrigerant pipe. The first connecting tube is connected to an outer circumferential surface of a first end of the pipe body in a pipe axis direction of the pipe body. The first connecting tube overlaps with the pipe body in a pipe diameter direction in an entirety of the first connecting tube in the pipe axis direction.

A plumbing fitting of a first plastic material comprises at least one annular branch defining a hollow port. A sleeve of a second plastic material can be inserted into the hollow port. The sleeve is retained within the hollow port by a retaining member which is fitted to the outer end and outer wall of the annular branch. The sleeve is configured to facilitate attachment of the plumbing fitting to a second plumbing fitting by insertion of the second plumbing fitting into the hollow port, wherein the second plumbing fitting is of the second plastic material.

Connection tube and its method of manufacturing

A connection tube (1) for connecting two tubes (8, 9) of different alloys, wherein the connection tube has a central through-hole extending along a longitudinal axis and comprises a first end portion (2) of a first alloy, a second end portion (3) of a second alloy, and a middle portion (4) which is at least partly double-layered with said second alloy forming an annular inner layer and said first alloy forming an annular outer layer, wherein a metallic bond has been formed between said layers. The inner and outer layers are mechanically interlocked by means of at least one helically extending thread formed in an interface between said layers. The connection tube is manufactured from a base component and an outer component threaded onto the base component to form a work piece, which is hot worked to form a metallic bond.
