Crimping tool
A crimping tool is described comprising a first crimping member, a second crimping member, at least one intermediate crimping member, a first sliding member and a second sliding member. The free ends of the first crimping member and the second crimping member form an opening of the crimping tool. The first crimping member, the at least one intermediate crimping member, and the second crimping member are sequentially hinged together via connecting devices. The first sliding member is slidably disposed on the free end of the first crimping member. The second sliding member is slidably disposed on the free end of the second crimping member. The first sliding member is adjacent to the second sliding member. The inner sides of the first crimping member, the at least one intermediate crimping member, the second crimping member, the first sliding member, and the second sliding member are formed to be pressed with the workpiece to be crimped. The crimping tool has a simple structure and good crimping performance, so that the workpiece is uniformly stressed and burrs on the workpiece can be reduced.
Compact hose assembly device
A compact hose assembly device may include a housing defining a cavity and a hingedly attached door to enclose the cavity. Within the cavity, the compact hose assembly device may include at least one sliding drawer or similar storage device. The compact hose assembly device may include an air-over-hydraulic crimping machine on a sliding drawing or substrate, the air-over-hydraulic being in operable communication with an air compressor, hydraulic foot pedal pump, and the like for operation. The compact hose assembly device may be constructed and arranged for convenient, low downtime, on-site hose repair or assembly.
Method and apparatus for high pressure sealing
The present technology generally relates to devices, systems and methods for providing robust sealing between surfaces in a pressurized system, such as a chromatography system. In particular, the devices, systems and methods relate to compliant and resilient parts that can be reused and/or reinstalled while providing a pressure tight sealing surface even within a high pressure environment (e.g., 1000 psi or greater).
Methods and apparatus for using crimp rings on flexible tubing
A crimping tool for crimping a metallic crimp ring. The crimping tool includes a first crimp die having a first curved contact surface and a second curved contact surface, the second curved contact surface spaced apart from the first curved contact surface, and a trench extending between the first curved contact surface and the second curved contact surface. The crimping tool also includes a second crimp die cooperatively engageable with the first crimp die having a first curved contact surface and a second curved contact surface, the second curved contact surface spaced apart from the first curved contact surface, and a trench extending between the first curved contact surface and the second curved contact surface. The trench of the first crimp die and the trench of the second crimp die forms an annular bead in a center portion of the metallic crimp ring.
Press fitting device
A press fitting device (1) for establishing a fluid-tight connection with at least one pipe section (10), the press fitting device being configured to generate a sound when a gaseous fluid flows along or through the press fitting device a) in a pre-press fit condition, in which a connection with the at least one pipe section is established and before the connection is press-fit; and/or b) in a press fit condition, in which the connection is press-fit, if the connection is not fluid-tight.
MANIPULATOR AND PLACEMENT TOOL FOR CONDUIT-JOINING SLEEVE
A manipulator and placement tool for conduit-joining sleeve is an open-ended cylinder having a first half-cylinder and a second half-cylinder. The first and second half-cylinders are hingedly coupled to one another at first circumferential ends thereof. A retainer couples the first and second half-cylinders at second circumferential ends thereof. A first axial end of the open-ended cylinder is configured to slidingly receive an open-ended conduit-joining sleeve therein wherein the sleeve is fully encased by the open-ended cylinder. A second axial end of the open-ended cylinder has an annular ledge at an internal region of the open-ended cylinder. The annular ledge prevents the sleeve from passing axially through the second axial end.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, APPARATUS, AND ARTICLES OF MANUFACTURE TO CRIMP A TUBE
Methods, systems, apparatus, and articles of manufacture to crimp a tube are disclosed. An example crimp disclosed herein includes a first crimp section extending between a first end of the crimp and a point along the crimp between the first end and a second end, a first inner diameter of the first crimp section constant between the first end and the point, and a second crimp section adjacent the first crimp section, the second crimp section extending between the point and the second end, a second inner diameter of the second crimp section to increase from the point to the second end.
SWAGE MACHINE HINGE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Techniques for implementing and/or operating a system that includes a pipe fitting and a swage machine. The swage machine includes a grab plate having a grab tab that matingly interlocks with a grab notch on the pipe fitting to facilitate securing the swage machine to the pipe fitting and a die plate having a die seat that enables a set of die segments to be used to conformally deform the pipe fitting around the tubing of the pipe segment to be loaded in the swage machine. The die plate and the grab plate include a base plate section, a hinge plate secured to the base plate section via a hinge fastener such that the hinge plate directly abuts the base plate section, and a pivotable plate section secured to the hinge plate via a hinge fastener such that the hinge plate directly abuts the pivotable plate section.
Connecting device and pipe press-fit connecting apparatus using the same
A pipe press-fit connecting apparatus includes a connecting device. The connecting device may be used to connect a connected unit to a pressing power providing unit. The connecting device includes a fastener and a coupling pin. The fastener is installed at one end of the installation hole on an exterior surface of a cylinder block and has a fastening pin configured to be resiliently arranged and at least partially be exposed to the installation hole. The coupling pin is inserted through the installation hole and the insertion hole through another end of the installation hole on the exterior surface of the cylinder block to be resiliently coupled to the fastening pin to couple the connected unit to the pressing power providing unit.
