Tube assembly, pressure exchanger and reverse osmosis system
A tube assembly (12) including an inner tube (13) having an outer thread (15), an outer tube (14) having an inner thread (16) engaging the outer thread (15), at least for securing an angular position between the inner tube (13) and the outer tube (14) is provided. Such a tube assembly should facilitate mounting and maintenance of a reverse osmosis system. To this end, the inner tube (13) includes at least an groove (17) on its outer surface and the outer tube (14) includes an recess (18) on its inner surface, wherein a blocking element is arranged in a space formed by the recess (18) and the groove (17) in overlapping relation with the groove (17) and the recess (18).
HEATED RESPIRATORY HOSE CONNECTION
Unwinding a portion of a support helix that comprises a heating wire from a wall of a hose at an end of the hose; sleeving a length of heatshrink tubing at least partly onto the unwound portion of the support helix; heating the heatshrink tubing to shrink onto at least part of the unwound portion of the support helix; and at an end of the unwound portion, directly connecting the heating wire to an electrical contact of an electrical connector.
Grouting device for high-coagulability grouting material
A grouting device for high-coagulability grouting materialsincludes a grouting pipe, a connector and a self-sealing pipe head, wherein one end of the connector is connected with a grouting pump through the grouting pipe, the other end of the connector is connected with the self-sealing pipe head through the grouting pipe, and the grouting pipe is connected with the connector and the self-sealing pipe head in a fixed and sealed mode. The grouting device is easy to install, features reliable connection between the grouting pipe and the connector and the self-sealing pipe head, and can be reused. Because the inner diameter of the connector is consistent with the inner diameter of the grouting pipe, and a slurry outlet on an end cap of the self-sealing pipe head is a circular slurry outlet, pressure loss in the grouting process is effectively reduced, and the grouting effect is good.
Magnetic hose connector and integrated magnetic connectors
A hose connector is disclosed that provides a magnetized connection of hoses, tubes, cables, ducts, pipes, chains, straps, wires, twine, cord and/or rope creating a continuation in length for versatile and extended flow for, but not limited to, watering needs eliminating conventional connector threads currently requiring multiple turns to release or attach or existing pronged coupling requiring a degree of hand agility and strength. Thereby the disclosed matter provides the means for a fast, single motion attachment or twisting detachment of, but not limited to hose, tube, cable, duct, pipe, chain, strap, wire, twine, cord and/or rope ends without requiring the hand strength or precision that some conventional hose, tube, cable, duct, twine, cord, and/or rope connectors may require. There may be any combination of connecting the ends of hoses, tubes, cables, ducts, pipes, chains, straps, wires, twines, cords, and/or ropes. In some scenarios, flow is not required.
Coupler for Connecting Flexible Hoses
An improved coupler for connecting flexible hoses and tubing has a coupler connecter and an integrated longitudinally extending insert spear. The insert spear is provided with an array of spiraled woodscrew-type threads. The threads of the array of spiraled threads are preferably sharp and coarsely pitched to readily engage the interior sidewall of the internal bore of a hose or tubing segment. Rotation of the insert spear with the spiraled threads will draw the insert spear fully into the internal bore of the tubing segment. The improved coupler may be provided with at least one radial band positioned around the insert spear that serves to seal the internal bore of the tubing segment and hold the insert spear in place.
Lubricant composition and use of the same as a pipe dope
The present invention provides a lubricant composition comprising: (i) a base oil (ii) an organophilic clay-based thickener; and (iii) a solid lubricant, wherein said solid lubricant does not comprise any heavy metals. The present invention also provides the use of a lubricant composition comprising: a base oil; an organophilic clay-based thickener; and a solid lubricant, wherein said solid lubricant does not comprise any heavy metals, as a pipe dope.
THREADED CONNECTION FOR PIPES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THREADED CONNECTION FOR PIPES
A threaded connection for pipes according to the present embodiment includes a pin, a box, and a Zn—Ni alloy plating layer. The pin has a pin contact surface that includes an external thread part. The box has a box contact surface that includes an internal thread part. The Zn—Ni alloy plating layer is disposed on or above at least one of the pin contact surface and the box contact surface. The Zn—Ni alloy plating layer contains graphite.
SWIVELLING COUPLING WITH EXTERNAL SEALING ELEMENT
A coupling for providing a connection and establishing fluid communication between fluid lines is provided. The coupling includes a housing defining an internal cavity with an open end, and a male component engageable within the internal cavity through the open end. The male component has a shank portion adapted to engage a fluid line. The coupling also has a nut securable to the housing and adapted to surround a portion of the shank portion and radially and axially restrain the shank portion within the internal cavity. The nut is further adapted to allow the male component to rotate with respect to the housing and the nut about a longitudinal axis of the shank portion. The coupling further includes a sealing ring provided about the shank portion which is adapted to at least partially block axial and radial movement of the male component relative to the nut and the housing.
Threaded connection for pipe and method for producing threaded connection for pipe
A threaded connection for pipe includes a pin and a box. The threaded connection for pipe includes a Zn—Ni alloy plated layer and a solid lubricant coating. The Zn—Ni alloy plated layer is formed on a contact surface of at least one of the pin and the box and contains 10 to 16 mass % of Ni. The solid lubricant coating is formed on the Zn—Ni alloy plated layer. The contact surface on which the Zn—Ni alloy plated layer is formed is ground. Now define arithmetic average roughness of the surface of the Zn—Ni alloy plated layer as Ra1, and arithmetic average roughness of the contact surface as Ra2. Ra1 ranges from 0.1 to 3.2 μm. Ra1 is more than Ra2.
Hammerless and torqueless union connection
A union connection common in connecting pipelines in various industries comprises a threaded female pipe end, a male pipe end insertable into the female pipe end to form a sealed connection, a plurality of shaped ring segments and a threaded collar in which the shaped ring segments are placed in a shaped groove on the male pipe and positioned in the threaded collar. The threaded female pipe end is then threaded onto the threaded collar, the threads each being clocked so as to press the collar against the male pipe using the ring segments and into a sealed connection with the female pipe. A pin inserted through a pin hole in the collar and into a pin recess in the female pipe end holds the parts in place. The pin hole and pin recess are positioned relative to the clocked threads of the collar and female pipe.
